Great place, great staff
Pros:

The location really couldn't be any better, and neither could the staff - helpful, kind and welcoming beyond measure. Just the best people! And the washing machine and drying room (the shower has a drying feature - genius) make this place absolutely ideal for halfway through your trip.

Cons:

The AC and WiFi are a little unreliable - though we might have just been bad at making them work!

Amazing, definitely recommend
Pros:

The staff was great, they helped us with everything we needed, very welcoming and warm atmosphere. The location is very close to transport and Nishiki market. There is a washing machine inside the room.

Pros:

This was probably one of the best hotels of our entire trip to Japan. We knew it was slightly above our original budget, but it was absolutely worth the money.
The location could hardly have been better. The hotel was conveniently located close to Nishiki Market, the station, Gion, shopping malls, restaurants and many other attractions. Despite being so centrally located, it was incredibly quiet.
Our room was spacious, clean and modern. We chose twin beds for extra comfort, and having a washing machine and dryer was extremely useful during our trip.
What really made this hotel special, however, was the staff. Although it is part of a chain, the people running the hotel made it feel personal and welcoming—almost like a family-run place. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. We especially appreciated the older gentleman who gave us useful advice on the best way to get to the station with our heavy suitcases. I genuinely felt that the staff cared about both the hotel and their guests.
There were also plenty of signs and instructions in the room explaining how everything worked—even simple things like opening the blinds. We personally didn't need much help, as I have lived in Japan before and am familiar with many Japanese appliances and gadgets, but I can imagine these instructions would be particularly useful for first-time visitors.
Overall, this was an excellent stay. Comfortable, modern, peaceful, perfectly located and made even better by genuinely caring and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough about my stay. I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff and owner couldn't do enough for me. I felt at home with them.

Hotel muy acogedor y familiar
Pros:

Hotel muy céntrico, cerca del mercado de osaka, la zona comercial, el tren, autobuses.
Dispones de lavadora en la habitación y tiene un sistema de secado de la ropa en el lavabo de la habitación.
El personal es muy atento y te asesoran y aconsejam sobre visitas y que hacer en la ciudad

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel GOCO, facilities and location are excellent - only a few metres away from Nishiki market. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and made us feel very welcomed! Would highly recommend.
