The room was so small it was barely suitable for one never mind two persons . It was like a tiny cabin on a yacht . There were no comfortable communal spaces where one could relax and stretch out . It was not a comfortable stay at all

Great place to stay in Takayama
Pros:

Great location near to the all the local sites and in a quiet part of town. The rooms were small but good facilities and very clean.

Cons:

Parking is a bit tricky if you don't book ahead. Can only be booked if you phone the hotel.

Cons:

Vedy rude staff. Deslute being paying guests, the man at reception refused to help us make a phone call to confirm a reservation, and instead told us to use a pay phone at the train station over a kilometer away.

False advertising regarding parking. We were told that parking was included, however it was actually offsite for an additional fee.
