The cleanliness was great.

Cons:

I felt completely cheated. I had to pay for parking, breakfast, wifi? What a joke. Will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Overall, it was a nice hotel with friendly staff and clean facilities.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean.

Cons:

We missed having the continental breakfast buffet. The "made to order" breakfast took thirty minutes. Had we known what a long wait it was going to be, we would have skipped it because we had a boat tour in the morning and were pressed for time. Also, we did not have cash on us in the dining room and, since there was no ATM in the hotel, we were unable to tip the one staff who was working the room all alone! I would highly recommend installing an ATM in the lobby, as I'm sure we are not the only patrons to run into this type of dilemma.

Great facility but not great stay of not getting sleep
Cons:

The people in the room next to us we were screaming at 10 pm and 2 pm had to have our tv on to drown the noise out and we told the front desk and they did nothing

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express outside Erie PA.
Pros:

Breakfast menu was awesome. Even without the buffer option, we could order-to-appetite.

Pros:

Everything was just perfect. All was professionally handled, the staff was friendly and amazing. They do a fantastic job and that kitchen crew; they are absolutely amazing, they need to be training like really training others, because that place is set up. They have raised the bar there. I love it.
