La ubicación es top. El barrio es divino. El cuarto muy prolijo, pensé que iba a ser más pequeño pero estuvo muy bien. El desayuno es muy bueno, opciones limitadas pero muy ricas.
Enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful on checking in. The room was clean, modern, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Room servicing and cleaning were exceptional. Above all the location right in the hear of Ebisu was the greatest thing. 2min walk to the JY line. Lot's a cheap and good places to eat and multiple Family Marts, Lawsons mini marts and the Peacock supermarket within 1-2 min walk also. Air conditioning was wonderful in the room - and who doesn't like a good Japanese toilet :-)
So the room was advertised with breakfast. It was poor to be honest. What is 'included' with your room is buttered toast, cheese and ham on toast, BLT - with egg. All were pretty bad - BLT being the best of the bad bunch. I think the hotel would be better not offering breakfast with the stay - as it works against them. People expecting a reasonable hotel breakfast are disappointed - so save yourself the potential negative comments and either a) don't offer the free breakfasts or b) Charge a small price for a much better breakfast.
The only other thing I think could be improved upon would be the provision of some working desks in reception to plugin in your laptop etc. There is a table in the cafe off reception with power etc, but the hand written signs everywhere saying this is 'not a free space' and items must be purchased is not welcoming.
But - these are both minor points in comparison to the great room and location. So just go knowing that's its probably best to pop to the local Family Mart for some 100 yen hash browns, some fruit and some good juice rather than rely on the hotel breakfast in the morning,
This hotel is in a very convenient location to explore the Shibuya/Shinjuku area and the lovely neighbourhoods right beside (Ebisu, Daikanyama, Meguro...). The room was quiet and comfortable. Perfect for a solo traveller. Very clean. Close to the Ebisu train station.
The western-style breakfast lacked variety and was a little too simple, especially since some of the options were not available. I was also disappointed that they did not offer to keep the luggage before or just after my stay. I ended up using the train station lockers, but I was a bit surprised since in all my other stays the option to keep it at the hotel was available.
Everything! Location, beds, rooms, breakfast….
That they didn’t give free water bottles 😆
