Staff were so friendly and accommodating! Big shout out to Sally, Guy & Brenda for interacting with the kids and the great hospitality! We came with a hockey group and Guy took care of us the moment we walked in.
Sally was so sweet with the girls, she made treat bags for the birthday girls & gave them all a water bottle with their names and hockey numbers. All the girls loved giving her hugs.
Hands down of all the hotels we have ever stayed at, the staff at this one can’t be beat. Memorable for sure. If we are ever in the area again, we will be booking here!
Hotel was so clean. Modern, great pool with waterslide and they even accommodated our team by putting breakfast out a bit early.

The sheets were very irritating and the breakfast was soggy and mushy and hardly much left when you went down was not refilled

Front desk stuff are really nice
Not accessible at all. The carpet on the floor and corridor, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash being so far that you literally have to walk to get it and being a person with ataxia, I could have fallen or injured myself or anyone with disabilities can. I booked an accessible room and it was accessible at all, the coffee machine was too high that I had to get the staff to bring down for me.
Stayed at the Microtel Inn in January for one night.. This is definitely a sports team hotel. The rooms were new and clean , staff was good, but we were on a floor with tons of kids running and it was very loud all evening. Main lobby and common area was destroyed by kids spilling drinks on tables and families taking over entire areas. If I had an option to stay on a floor that is not overrun by sports teams it would have been a better stay. The rooms are very nice and clean.

Booking website I used showed a completely different scene of the room I chose. I booked at this hotel because on Booking.com it said there was a whirlpool bathtub, which was the only reason I choose the room. For some reason, despite me purchasing the selection with this feature, when I told the front desk they didn't give any accomodation , display understanding, and instead persisted I provide the proof. This ended up being impossible because the website had changed, or somehow I paid for a room at this hotel under the wrong page, which wouldn't be possible since I ended up having a reservation at Microtel.
I understand why they asked for proof, but when I became upset he kept telling me I was wrong and asked what I wanted...I wasn't sure how to answer this, I don't know what they offer... and what was supposed to be an intimate anniversary, ended up being a NOT as advertised. The man on shift was unapologetic and didn't offer any suggestions as to how they could make the night up, even after I tried to talk to him a second time. He insulted me and my partner when we couldn't open a corked bottle of wine stating that "most people don't have an issue with this." we are two women and that was not cool, especially since we felt bad enough as is to ask for help.
Definitely a great place I would highly recommend to other people and family n friends 120% in the future staff are great rooms are great very clean definitely a fantastic place
Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool and the hot tub in the spa area — both were clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind.
The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options, and everything was fresh and well organized. The location of the hotel is convenient, and the parking was easy and hassle-free.
Overall, a wonderful experience — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
