The hotel is comfortable and is located in a very quiet area of the city, despite being very close to commercial streets and tourists' favourites. In general, a very good option if you are looking for a central and cozy accomodation with average prices.

Lovely hotel on a safe and quiet street close to active areas.
Pros:

The location puts you between two popular areas for dining and shopping, 5 minute or less walk to either. Train station and bus less than 5 minutes away.
The lobby and hallways smelled great!! Staff was friendly , beds were comfortable. Loved the free drinks, appreciated the clean laundry facility.

Cons:

I can’t think of anything. We didn’t participate in breakfast because we didn’t want to pay for it and we don’t need a full breakfast everyday.

Wonderful place to stay
Pros:

The location is perfect and the people at the front desk are wonderful. And there’s an excellent laundry and charming sake tasting. A French cafe around the corner and a stunning temple.

Cons:

I wish you could open the windows. I find the sound of air conditioning hard to take.

Hotel estupendo en ubicación perfecta para conocer Kioto.
Pros:

El hotel está en una calle muy tranquila, aunque paralela a una avenida principal que te lleva al rio y la zona de Pontocho a 10 minutos andando. Pegado a la zona de Gion y muy cerca de la estación de metro y estaciones de autobús. En mi opinión, una ubicación perfecta para visitar la ciudad y descansar. Además, la habitación era muy cómoda y estaba muy limpia; el hotel ofrecía muchos servicios y era bonito.

Cons:

No hay nada que no me gustase como tal. Quizá, eché en falta una lavadora en la habitación, o de uso gratuito, como si me encontré en otros hoteles en Japón. Sin embargo, considerando el precio (que fue excepcional) y el resto de servicios y comodidades que ofrece el hotel, creo que no se puede pedir más.
