Ein Traum
Pros:

Wir waren schon mehrfach dort zu Gast- für uns als Fans von Fahrradtouren, Freibädern und Sauna einfach perfekt. Frühstück überragend, eigenes Wirtshaus zu empfehlen und auch andere Restaurants in der Nähe

Toller Kurzurlaub.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war perfekt, reichlich Auswahl, sehr abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Zimmer sehr groß, allerdings an einer stark befahrenen Kreuzung. Lage optimal, direkt an der Burg Burghausen.

Great for light sleepers. Not great for hot weather.
Pros:

Absolutely amazing!

I'm a very light sleeper, so I need to be very selective about which hotels I stay at. This property was perfect for me.

The doors and windows in the room are both noise-cancelling. Once you close them, no outside noise gets into the room (unless one of your neighbours really makes an effort to bang on the wall - but that's not the hotel's fault).

The one caveat I would make is that if you open the windows, the noise can make sleeping difficult. I went during a cool period, but if there had been a heatwave, the lack of AC would have probably forced me to open the windows. Just bear this in mind if you are travelling in the summer.

The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. They all speak good English if this is important to you.

Cons:

There is no AC in the rooms, but a fan was provided. If there had been a heatwave, I would probably have had to choose a different hotel. However, the temperature was in the low 20s when I was staying, so it wasn't an issue.

Ein gediegenes Hotel, ganz nahe am Eingang zur Burg gelegen
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab reichlich Auswahl und die Präsentation war äusserst ansprechend: Samovar für heisses Wasser, hübsch gedeckte Tische und aufmerksame Bedienung.
Das angeschlossene Restaurant (mit Biergarten) offeriert Speisen von höchster Qualität.
Phantastisch ist das SPA, mit zahlreichen Anwendungen, u.a. mit einer Kabine für Rasul.

Cons:

Da gab' es nichts.

Gute Lage, gutes Hotel.
Pros:

Gute Parkplatzsituation. Die Lage am Beginn der Burganlage und zu einigen Restaurants ist perfekt. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles was man braucht.

Cons:

Die Öffnungszeiten im Wirtshaus bzw. Biergarten.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, nette Gastgeber; gute Lage für Burgbesichtigung, allerdings Altstadt zu Fuß oder per Rad nur über steilen oder verkehrsreichen Abstieg erreichbar; Zimmer waren für uns zu luxuriös!

Manche Zimmer durch Verkehr recht laut, Lüftung reicht im Sommer gerade noch aus;

Für einen Kurztrip ist das Hotel wunderbar geeignet, für einen längeren Aufenthalt aber nur bedingt.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und beflissen.
Das Spa-Angebot haben wir zwar nichr in Anspruch gekommen aber es sah wunderbar aus.

Cons:

Eine Klima-Anlage ist nicht vorhanden und das Hotel war sehr aufgeheizt, Da ich ein Eckzimmer mit zwei Fenstern hatte, konnte ich aber Abhilfe schaffen - nachts....

Hauptkritikpunkte meiner Meinung nach:
Die Matratzen und Kissen müssten wirklich dringend getauscht werden und falls Sie laktoseintolerant sind, werden Sie beim Frühstück nur eine geringe Auswahl an Möglichkeiten vorfinden.
Hafermilch war aber im Angebot.

Tolle Lage, tolles Frühstück, aber das Zimmer war sehr laut durch den Autoverkehr

Die Lage ist wegen den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants sehr gut.

Cons:

Durch die zentrale Lage war das Zimmer außerordentlich laut. Es war nicht möglich, bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen.
