Very comfortable, well connected to trains, trams and buses
Pros:

Good location, close walk from Haymarket station and an easy stroll to the hub of amazing Edinburgh city and all the attractions. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was pricey but very clean and well maintained.

Our stay was very enjoyable and was made more comfortable by the lovely front desk workers. Calum recommended amazing spots for us to visit and also gave us places to go after our stay in our next destination .

We had a fantastic stay in Edinburgh.
Pros:

The hotel was just right. It was a brand-new property in an ideal location, making it perfect for my stay.

Cons:

One side of the queen-size bed wasn’t very comfortable, according to my wife. However, our children found the single beds very comfortable.

Lovely hotel but a bit too far out from the main attractions
Pros:

The hotel was lovely - really modern and furnished beautifully. We had an upgrade to our room as it was our anniversary, so it included a jetted bath. We also had little cup cakes and a nice card in our room, which was a special touch. The reception staff and one blonde lady at breakfast were very professional and helpful

Cons:

The location was quite far out from the main attractions, so you either had a long walk (around 25 mins) to get to the castle area or you had to pay for a taxi/uber. These were only around £5-£10 so it wasn't bank breaking. As we're not early risers and didn't get down to breakfast until around 9.30am, some of the hot breakfast items (like the fried eggs) had been sitting a while and were all dry and weren't being replenished. They probably would have cooked more if we'd asked though
