It’s a great place to relax after a day of travel

Great stay in Taipei, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pros:

The location is unbeatable, merely 50 meters from the subway entrance. The hot tub on the top of the building is a great bonus, refreshing and kept clean.

Cons:

This is only minor issue: the toilet in the men’s public hot bath is slightly smelly.

A beautiful classy hotel with comfortable rooms and beds

It’s right next to the blue line train and only a couple of stops to main Taipei station. Beautiful rooms and onsen.

Great place for business trips

Great staff and cozy rooms, but the glass-walled shower means you'll be putting on a show for anyone walking through
Pros:

The staff was welcoming and friendly. They held luggage upon our early arrival and took it up to the room once it was ready. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the room was efficiently laid out given its narrow width.

Cons:

The "Odd Man Out" Math: only room options available were for three or fewer. Since we are a family of four, we couldn't book a single room. Thankfully, the front desk staff showed some mercy and placed our two rooms right next door to each other.

Fish Bowl Bathroom: Now, let’s talk about the bathroom. Someone architectural-school-adjacent decided that what a bathroom really needs is total transparency. The shower/tub combo features floor-to-ceiling glass walls creating a shower roulette situation. To make matters more thrilling, there is a curtain... but it only blocks the view from the main bedroom. If anyone walks through the front door, opens it for room service, or just stands in the entryway, they get a full, unobstructed view of whoever is soaping up. It’s an absolute thrill ride if you love extreme vulnerability.

The Verdict: The staff is great at room placement, but pack a blindfold for anyone standing near the front door unless you want to give the housekeeping staff or the family member(s) from the 2nd room a lifetime of trauma.
