If Instagram vs Reality was a hotel, it would be this one.
Pros:

The hotel is quite cute and quirky. However be aware that this is a very flattering listing. The photos are heavily edited, and carefully shot.

The place is quite old and needs a serious modernisation.

Cons:

There's no lift, no AC, no water pressure, no deal, not much of anything actually.

They do provide one of those knock-off blade fans, and suggest that you open the window.

However blade fans are very loud, and once you open the window you will be cannibalised by mosquitos (because the hotel is located on a canal of almost stagnant water).

Water can be best described as a lukewarm dribble. You can let it run for 5 mins on full hot which makes it tolerable (but we were there in September, so no idea about winter).

Pros:

Ein Hotel mit viel Charme und sehr freundlichem Personal. Es ist gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, und von dort aus ist das Zentrum sowie die Umgebung nicht weit zu Fuss. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder vorbei. Grazie mille.
