The rooftop bar was world class - incredible views, jazzy music, couches, tables, just perfect. The plunge pool on the other side is small but lots of loungers and an easy dip to cool off. The elevator gets you down to street level and then you are just a 4 block walk to the beach, through a nice part of town with shops. It's great to be a little away from all the buzz, and then have the roof top view once you get there. The room was large and had a Nespresso with real cream available. They had a bottle of Cava and snacks for us for our anniversary - lovely gesture.
Our room had a partial view, which was great. However, someone at this hotel decided to hang a giant TV right over the window. Who comes to San Sebastian to watch TV? It blocked the partial view we had, and we almost knocked our head into it several times. Ridiculous. Put it in the corner. We had low AC the first two nights, which was rough sleeping. It was fixed on our last night there and that was amazing. I understand it was a glitch. What can you do.

Everything was perfect
Beautiful hotel, very clean, amazing breakfast (one of the best we have ever had, they even had cherries and basque cheesecake, and fresh orange juice) Turn down service most nights with a chocolate, very comfortable and big bed. Toiletries provided. The staff are amazing and super helpful, front desk staff very kind and speak English well which is hard to find in San Sebastián.
It’s an open hotel so all rooms on all levels are exposed to a central statue case that is open and the very loud bar on the top floor where sound travels down. Most nights we heard people shouting and laughing loud from the bar until
very late (even though we were on the 3rd floor) and my daughter did not sleep well at all as she was near the door to the room. It’s not soundproof and you also hear people talking as they walk up the stairs case and on the terrace outside the window. So if you are looking a for a quiet sleep this will not be the place. Everything else
was great though.
