A very comfortable hotel with great food, friendly staff and a spectacular view, but the swimming pool cleanliness needs
Pros:

The hotel is very nice overall. The food is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bedding is absolutely wonderful, very soft and comfortable. The view from the window is also spectacular.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not clean. There were hair and sand on the bottom, and the pool floor became slippery when it was not cleaned properly. Since the sea is not suitable for swimming, we spent most of the day at the pool. Because the pool water was not always clean, it was difficult to enjoy swimming properly.

Lovely stay
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at the Angsana, the room was beautiful and the location is incredibly peaceful. I’m a solo traveller and there were a lot of families but I don’t mind this and noticed the hotel also has a dedicated children’s pool. The sea water on the beach isn’t the cleanest, but still a lovely view and nice warm water. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My room attendant Masum was very attentive and kind.

I left my ring in the safe and contacted the staff to get it back, who worked really hard to courier it to another part of Malaysia so I could pick it up and collect it. I was reunited with my ring and was very grateful! Many thanks!

Pros:

everything was nice and service was generally good but the amenities of hotel was the best

Cons:

at the time of my check in, there was only one person at the counter and another customer was with the receptionist. i had to stand to wait for around 10 minutes.

Amazing hotel with beautiful location. Staffs were very helpful and the breakfast is great.
Pros:

Amazing hotel room with beautiful beach view. The staffs very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice lot of choices. But felt authentic malaysian foods like Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai was not really nice or could've make better. However other foods like pastries, noodles, etc etc were nice.

Cons:

The location is bit far from the main attractions. All the good foods were at Georgetown. All the nice beaches were at Batu Ferringhi or Tanjung Bunga, but this hotel is located at Teluk Bahang, so you need to drive far everytime.

Pros:

The rooms, toilet were exceptionally clean and breakfast was awesome.
They had ping pong, pool table etc. and we liked it. The swimming pool was nice.

Cons:

Front desk can be more guest friendly and there was no welcome drink and guest didn't give any instruction / information about the hotel amenities, breakfast timing, things to see near by, shuttle services etc. They just gave us the room key and we managed to find it ourselves.

If you want to try food outside hotel, you need to go Batu Ferringhi by Grab. it was little inconvenient but if you wish to stay within the hotel, then its worth.
