Cons:

I am leaving this review because my experience with the hotel’s reservation department was disappointing and far below my expectations.

On my husband’s last day before his departure, I planned a surprise for him. Early in the morning, I called room service to order coffee and specifically requested that staff not call the room and not ring the doorbell, as I wanted to keep the surprise discreet.

Despite this very clear request, I received a call from the hotel at approximately 7:45 AM. The call woke my husband and completely ruined the surprise I had carefully planned for his last morning before leaving.

After this incident, I asked to extend my stay for one additional night. I was informed that no rooms in my category were available. However, after checking Booking.com myself, I found that the same room category was in fact available for the dates I requested. Moreover, the rate on Booking.com was lower than the rate the hotel initially offered me directly, even after applying their claimed 30% discount.

Only after I pointed this out and completed a reservation through Booking.com was the hotel able to extend my stay in the same room.

The issue was not a misunderstanding. It was a failure to follow a very simple and clearly communicated request, followed by contradictory information regarding room availability and pricing.

I also informed the staff that I intended to stay in Penang for another week. From a business perspective, it would have made much more sense to retain a returning guest rather than lose one over a situation that could easily have been avoided. Unfortunately, after this experience, I decided to move to another hotel for the remainder of my stay, despite already having paid €160 for an additional night.

Apparently, calling guests at 7:45 in the morning is considered acceptable, but offering a fair rate for the room—or even a complimentary dinner as a gesture of goodwill after ruining an important personal moment—was not.

the bed!! comfiest bed! and the view of balcony is stunning and amazing. spacious room and the facilities is excellent too. enjoy my honeymoon, my rate is 9/10.

Cons:

maybe next time can guide people that are newbie in check in hotel. we struggle to explore the facilities provided 😂 overall okayy

Pros:

sunset view is the best 🌤️ i’m staying on the 10th floor..and i loved how clean the room was.everything is perfect..

Cons:

the balcony may not suitable for families with young children due to safety reasons..the place is peaceful and perfect for honeymooners.however,i think the staff could be a bit friendlier and more welcoming to guests.

breakfast was average , no personal touch or greetings from staff, location far from everything, you need a car

Cons:

the furniture fittings , cheap painting in the rooms , furniture overall , in the rooms and lobby , makes the hotel cheap for the price you pay. The hotel lobby was still under renovations when i check in , the kids pool slide and water FALL was not functioning.This was not infomed in the bookings from the hotel advert . GM SHOULD BE MORE ATTENTIVE TO INFORM IN FUTURE
