It's a newer property, about six years old. It seemed to be well maintained. The location is really good next to a Costco and close to the beltline. They have a great exercise room and pool, but I didn't get to use them. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

loved the breakfast options and location was perfect
the front desk clerk didn't necessarily look like he was enjoying his job. but, he was decent enough. I could have just been overly friendly
the Breakfast was great, i really enjoyed the selection of food and they had a lovely outside patio to eat.

Very disappointed with this hotel!
Be careful when booking because the name is VERY similar to the Holiday Inn & Suites Madison West – Middleton, which is the water park hotel we actually wanted. We were traveling from Indiana with our grandchildren and accidentally booked the Holiday Inn Express & Suites – Madison West – Middleton instead. We realized the mistake when we arrived, but the hotel told us it was too late to change, so we decided to stay anyway.
After swimming with our grandchildren and returning around 10 p.m., we discovered the blackout blind in our first-floor room would not work. Our room was right next to the front desk, so car headlights were shining directly into the room and people walking by could see inside.
We asked the front desk to fix it or move us to another room. The receptionist was extremely rude and told us it was our fault because we should have checked the blinds when we arrived. I have stayed in many hotels and have NEVER checked whether the blinds worked when first entering a room.
Maintenance came and tried to fix it, but we were told it would take more than 40 minutes to charge. We decided to leave and requested a refund. The receptionist continued to be rude, and it took over an hour before we were finally allowed to leave and told we would be reimbursed.
Things break—that happens. The way we were treated was the biggest problem. Very disappointing experience, and we will not be staying here again.
BEWARE of the very similar hotel names and make sure you book the water park hotel if that is what you are expecting.
Very accommodating staff.
The staff and cleanliness were excellent.
The breakfast was great…the pool area was big enough for the kids to enjoy swimming and it had a pretty big hot tub!
The I my complaints I had was the elevator is SO slow so when we were trying to check out it took forever to get on it. Also the last day of our stay the guy working in the breakfast area was pretty rude!
Good location, quiet and friendly staff
Clean room! Good location, close, 5 minutes, to lots of chain and local restaurants.
Bathroom in the room was a sliding barn door type - heavy, awkward to use and didn't fully close leaving a sight line into the bathroom. It's possible the railing for the door was installed upside down, preventing the door from completely covering the opening. Also the sofa bed mattress was very thin, almost unusable for 120lbs or less people.
The floors were filthy
The room was very cute and clean with a very large bathroom. Nice hotel overall with a great price for my last minute travel!
