Pros:

Hosts and staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect, within walking distance of everything needed. Would stay here again 100%.

Lovely stay in Newquay.
Pros:

Location was great, view from window fab. Liked the dressing table and light in the corner so I could do my hair while hubby was in the bathroom. Liked the addition of the individual fresh fruit bowls at breakfast.

Cons:

Owen was a bit unfriendly on arrival when I asked if it was okay where we were parked... not even a welcome to Newquay or anything... the next day, Margaret was much more friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable but felt like it wasn't level - felt like we were sloping down at the head. Base issue perhaps?

The only suggestion we would make is that the pillows could do with being replaced, as they are starting to feel worn.

Great facilities, fantastic location
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a combination of continental and staff taking your order for cooked options . The room was spacious and well maintained, with views of the beach. The location was great, opposite a park, and a 2 minute walk to the main street.

Cons:

The parking was scarce, but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Lovely stay in Newquay.
Pros:

We had a decent sized room with a spare single bed that we used to put our bags on. The bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good, with attentive staff and lots of choice. We enjoyed using the bar and pool table in the evening. The location was good, although parking was a bit tricky.

Cons:

I’m not sure if this was a temporary thing, but there was an unpleasant odour in the bathroom, like a bit of sewer backup. We had a nice big window, but only an in-your-face view of neighbouring buildings. For the price, I don’t think they should be charging for a bottle of water!

Cons:

The room I had, didn’t have a door to the en-suite which was fine for me travelling on my own but may be a little awkward depending on who you’re travelling with!

Would stay again.
Pros:

Great location. The bed was extremely comfortable! The room and bathroom were both a good size. Breakfast was delicious and kept us full. Staff were lovely. Couldn’t ask for anything better. This was my second time at the hotel and can’t complain about anything.
