Great place to stay in a lovely village setting with excellent rooms, food and staff
Pros:

The evening meal was delicious. High quality food and presentation. I liked the size of the room and the facilities were great. Little touches like the biscuits and fan to keep the room cool were very welcome.

Almost everything!

Cons:

Sadly we went for our anniversary and the second night ( our anniversary) the restaurant was closed and though when we booked the table and were told that though the restaurant was closed they would arrange something nice in the bar area for us. Nothing was done when we came down for dinner so thought the food was lovely it was not a special night!

Excellent traditional pub, very comfortable, great food and staff.
Pros:

Never been to Ramsbury before, very nice pub in a nice village. Pub itself traditional old village pub which has been extensively refurbished (probably some time ago). Very comfortable room. Good atmosphere with quite a few locals in the bar. Evening meal and breakfast both very good. Excellent staff.

One of my favourite pubs in England. The food is excellent. The staff are wonderful.
Pros:

Lovely traditional accommodation in a beautiful old pub. Very comfortable and the staff are all wonderful.

Cons:

My stay coincided with one of the heatwaves in the southeast. On the first night, my room averaged 26C which was u comfortable. Opening the small windows and using the fan provided sis not make much difference. When I first arrived the room was 30C. Perhaps in such extreme weather, windows could be opened and fans set running in advance of guests arrival.

Hotel fine, computer systems abysmal
Pros:

Breakfast and evening meal very good

Cons:

Being challenged twice for non payment of my room. I paid in full after my evening meal. However after breakfast I was challenged at reception for non payment of my room I produced my receipt and received an apology. However on leaving with my wife and laden with bags and a suitcase I was once again challenged for non payment of the room this time at the main public entrance I yet again produced my receipt and received an apology. The Hotel needs to update it's computer system or retrain the staff to prevent this unpleasantness of being challenged occurring again

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad!
Pros:

De locatie lag voor ons perfect centraal gelegen qua activiteiten die we wilden ondernemen (cultuursnuiven en wandelen). Het was rustig en de accomodatie sfeervol. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was netjes en voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en ook het diner vonden we een aanrader. Reserveer wel op tijd een plekje in het restaurant. Het pub gedeelte kan gezellig rumoerig worden naar mate de avond vordert. Leuk om daar een drankje te doen, maar minder geschikt om daar dan te eten. Verder werd alles heel netjes schoongemaakt en bijgehouden.

Cons:

De douche was aan de krappe kant en zou ik niet willen aanraden aan mensen die minder mobiel zijn.

Lovely village. Lovely pub. Lovely room. Lovely stay.
Pros:

Everything was just perfect. Staff friendly and attentive. Bed great. Pillows comfortable. Lots of extras. Breakfast was superb. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Pros:

The outstanding element of our stay was the exceptional friendliness of the staff especially Josh.
The establishment itself is very clean and inviting and our room comfy. The food was scrumptious.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful food and cosy rooms.
Pros:

Fabulous friendly hotel with exceptional cooked to order breakfast. We ate in the restaurant on our first night which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and our room was well equipped. Good location for visiting nearby Marlborough and Hungerford. We would highly recommend The Bell ant Ramsbury and look forward to staying again.

Absolutely lovely. Staff all great

Comfortable bed. Coffee making facilities. Clean toilet showers sink etc

Poor lighting around sink. Very ill fitting windows. Noisy extractor outside. Stained cover on chair

Pros:

We had an amazing time staying here.
The food for dinner and breakfast was really tasty and they focus on local food. The atmosphere in the pub was warm and welcoming.
All the staff were so friendly and were always asking if we needed anything else.
I would definitely stay again.

Lovely pub stay with excellent breakfast
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at the Bell - our room (Pheasant) was spacious and the bathroom modern and also spacious(shower very good). We ate our evening meal at The Bell which was very good and also breakfast which was delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very good central wee village for day trips. Great parking around the back.
