Absolutely fantastic! Modern clean, everything you need. Beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were amazing. So kind and helpful. The Spa was exceptional. The Resturant food was wonderful and service top notch! Wish I had not booked another hotel. We had 2 nights here and 2 nights at another spa which was a major let down in comparison to this one! Well done IXORA!

Location for those who want to discover the north of Snowdonia and north of Wales.
The restaurant for breakfast is to crowded and food is not enough for the guests which means you have to wait for a long time until they bring new food and the staff during breakfast is not enough to provide good service.
The bathroom is separate from the shower and washing sink which means no complete privacy in suite room.
Food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had. The seating outside was enjoyable and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool table was also good fun a great addition.
It was a shame me and my daughter who is 15 couldn't use the spa facilities with it being over 18s. I feel there is no difference in maturity between a 15 year old and a 18 year old so maybe lowering the age to 13 would bring in more customers, we certainly would have spent more money if that was the case. This is the second time we have been here and now my daughter is a little older I must say the bathroom set up is not ideal, not enough privacy, it doesn't help there is a full lengh mirror opposite the shower so if you are sitting on the bed you can see someone getting out of the shower in the mirror.
Hotel was very clean very nice on the inside. Breakfast was very nice and had loads to choose from. This was close to a lot of beautiful sites if you like to explore.

Locatie was okay. Ontbijt was erg goed.
Onze kamer airco kapot. Sliepen met 3 man. Kregen 1 kamer voor 2 personen als compensatie, 3e lag in 24 graden.. geen oplossing in mijn ogen. Zeker niet voor die prijs

In an ideal world guests wouldn’t pay extra for the spa
Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer gut gefüllt. Wer eher kam hatte auch noch due Möglichkeit Obst zu bekommen und sich einen bestimmte Joghurtsort rauszusuchen.
Beim Abendessen gab es es nicht viel Auswahl auch nicht für Kinder.
Wenn man beim Frühstück nach um 8 kam konnte es schonmal vorkommen, dass man auch mal 5-10 Minuten warten musste bis ein Tisch frei wahr.
Das Bett war extrem weich für mich und das Schlafsofa war ebenfalls sehr durchgelegen.
Die Sauberkeit der Dusche hat sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. In allen Ecken war es sehr unsauber, teilweise schwarz.

Location is beautiful, easy access for hiking in Snowdonia, lovely local towns to visit. Food in the restaurant was very good (better than we expected for a hotel). The bar has a good choice of drinks. The free to use table tennis and pool table are a great idea.
The bedrooms are very spacious with an interesting/different en-suite design. Beds are excellent!
Spa is well worth booking into, a very good price for hotel guests. I love the outdoor heated salt pool.
Unfortunately my husband had his curry dropped onto his trainers by the waitress. He thankfully managed to mostly wash it off in the bathroom with soap. However my meal was just left in front of me whilst he was away washing his trainers and a new meal was prepared for him. We had no form of apology other than the very embarrassed waitress saying sorry. Accidents do happen, but it wasn’t dealt with very well by anyone in management.
Hence the overall score of 7 out of 10
Set in stunning scenery with lots of tables and chairs outside to enjoy the views.
Lovely big bedrooms with all the bits & bobs you’d need for a comfortable stay - full range of toiletries, hairdryer, fridge, iron & ironing board.
Breakfast was fine and had everything you’d expect.
The bed was not comfy. It was too soft and saggy.
Long queues waiting to be seated for breakfast, even though there were plenty of tables available. Just not enough staff to clear them.
The evening meal and service were poor.
