The hotel was comfortable overall, with good beds and a decent room. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and the gym with a beautiful panoramic city view. The location was also convenient, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Cons:

The biggest disappointment was the breakfast and service experience. We arrived about one hour before breakfast ended, but several items such as oatmeal, fresh fruit, and pancakes were already gone and were not refilled when requested. For a hotel in this price range, we expected the breakfast to be properly maintained until the end of service.

We were also disappointed with the parking charge situation. At check-in, the staff asked how many cars we had, and we clearly said one. However, when it was time to pay, the amount was higher than expected. When we questioned it, we were repeatedly told that the total was correct because of “taxes and fees,” without a clear explanation of the charges.

Only after asking for a detailed breakdown did they realize they had charged us for two cars instead of one. The mistake was corrected, but it was frustrating that we had to insist on reviewing the charges ourselves instead of the issue being noticed immediately. Since the hotel is quite expensive, we expected a smoother and more transparent experience overall.

Great experience at Hyatt Place.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and associates were kind and helpful. The location was convenient to ASU and local dining options. Parking in the nearby garage was very convenient.

Excellent Location
Pros:

We attended an event at the ASU desert financial arena, and location is perfect, just crossing the street!! Novus Place is a short walk too, with many fabulous food options
