Staff was very friendly and helpful, although they didn´t really speak English. Nice working space for our team meetings. and nice breakfast.
Lights worked a bit weird on some of our rooms and toilette lid looked a bit old and chipped. Unfortunately swimming pool was under repair (not lucky with the pools at hotels lately!) and although they offer to send us to another hotel it was really not convenient and we didn´t end up doing it.
As with all hotels in indonesia they don´t provide invoice as they consider booking is hte platform that should give the invoice.
Fantastic property, comfortable rooms and friendly staff! The food was fantastic, and the breakfast had a wide range to choose from.

what i dont like it the fact if im in the bathtub i cannot open the blinds without worrying people from outside looking in. since i can see the bathroom & room from outside when i walked from the mall to the hotel
Very conveniently placed close to the mall? The facilities are also well maintained and everything was delivered as promised. The staffs were also kind and helpful.

The Mercure Jakarta BSD City offers a clean, modern and visually pleasant room. Unfortunately, everything else falls far below the standards expected from a hotel within the group.
The service is clearly failing at every level. The examples below are only part of the issues encountered: in just two days, there were numerous and repeated problems.
Room service took more than one hour for an extremely simple request (just water), and it was even forgotten before I had to follow up. This is simply unacceptable.
Another telling example: when I asked for a car with driver for the day, I was told it had to be booked seven days in advance. In Jakarta, where this kind of service is readily available almost instantly everywhere, this response is incomprehensible and reflects a clear lack of professionalism.
The bedding is also disappointing, especially the pillows, which are extremely hard and uncomfortable, directly affecting the quality of sleep.
Finally, the breakfast is far below expectations. The selection is limited and heavily oriented towards local tastes, with no real international alternatives, and the overall quality is poor.
In summary, despite a decent room, the overall experience is bad. The level of service does not match what one would expect from a hotel of this category.
I do not recommend this property.
