Great location, clean and modern but missed the mark
Pros:

The hotel is modern, very clean and in a great location.
The rooms are well sound proofed.
The fixtures and fittings are beautifully designed and made.
It’s located on a gorgeous square, with the main cathedral at the centre.
Nice to have a kettle in the room, and a Dyson hairdryer.
Great housekeeping staff who cleaned the room well every day.
Breakfast was lovely but we were glad we hadn’t opted for breakfast to be included, as we just picked what we wanted from the menu, and ended up paying a lot less.

Cons:

The room was very narrow, although I did expect that from the pictures.
It also missed the mark in terms of giving a comfortable feel - although designer items in the room, it lacked any cosy touch. No soft furnishings other than a leather chair and it felt quite stark and soulless.
The bathroom had no towel rail which seemed an oversight and the shower enclosure was rather dark and slightly tomb like (I didn’t like it at all) although the shower was okay.
The main door to the building was really heavy and there was never anyone at the door (even when arriving with bags).
Staff on the front desk were friendly when you engaged with them but they were not actively engaged with guests when they came into the hotel (unlike other 4 and 5 star hotels).

New , elegant and expensive 4 Star hotel in a good location of San Sebastian
Pros:

Good beds. nice bathrooms. Nice building restoration. Location is close to the beach , shops and restaurants. Nice sauna and sports facility . Good wifi.

Cons:

The standard room is too small for the price. No changes offered nor possible unfortunately. There is no quiet lounge area at reception big enough for the amount of guests. The sofas are way too low there .
The standard room has a window but no outside view at all. There is no art on the walls in the room. A pity for a hotel with these ambitions . Reception staff could be more professional and more helpful.
There was no breakfast not even a coffee possibility at 7.30 am in the hotel before departure . This is not acceptable for such a hotel .
Breakfast and restaurant organization was quite messy.

Great location to explore San Sebastian
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and the location was excellent. Providing beach towels and a complimentary snacks / drinks bar in the room was a nice touch..

An excellent albeit expensive boutique hotel in one of Spain's most enjoyable cities.
Pros:

Great location in the heart of the modern city but within a 20 minute walk of the Old Town. Staff was exceptional in assisting with requests. Food and drink at Barru was very good.

Cons:

For the price we paid, the room should have been larger.

Diseño exquisito, personal muy amable, habitación y baño muy cómodo, personal durante el desayuno cercano y atento.

Cons:

Todo perfecto. Quizas tener algo más de amenities (crema pelo, cepillo y oasta de dientes)
