Pros:

The staff were very friendly and the room was very modern with a big bathroom, large smart TV and nicely decorated.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the appearance from the outside lets it down. There is a sign saying it will be updating the outside soon. But this did not affect our stay once we saw the bar and room.

Awful, based on our room and bar no idea how 4star and our room was just appalling and NOT Deluxe
Pros:

Nothing, the room was not deluxe at all. Could not see how it is 4 star was awful

Cons:

Everything, lumpy bed, mould came out of jets in bath which took over 20min to fill. Tried to shower off the mould and couldn’t get overhead to work and the bracket for the handheld part was broken so had to hold in hand. Mould round bath. Bath panel not fixed, holes in wall, light falling out ceiling, filthy velux. Uneven floor, that moved as you stood on it, TV that stuck out into room that banged head on as position lethally. Was not 20m2 as advertised for deluxe lucky if 10m2. Temperature of room was 26c when arrived, no AC, turned it off opened windows and hard to sleep as so hot, in morning it was 27 even though turned off all night. No lift so luckily we could walk up stairs. We even queried this room was deluxe and advised it was and if not happy to complain via email/booking agent

Phoenix Hotel Liverpool
Pros:

We liked the modern contemporary decor in an old looking building. The rooms were very comfortable but a bit warm in the middke of a heatwave!

Cons:

There was a fairly large deposit taken for a one night stay that we were not expecting which ate into our budget for our stay but we were told this would be returned in 7-10 days. It's been a week and no refund of deposit as yet. I think it was a bit pricey for how long we were there for but overall, the staff were very accommodating. There was no kitchen there so there was no option for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Would definitely return day. Hotel was very comfortable stay. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Pros:

Location is ideal if attending a game at Anfield as it’s a 15 minute walk. Bus stop is located nearby if you want to go into the city centre.

Did for one night.
Pros:

Easy to find.

Cons:

Rooms and hotel smelt of damp. Dingy bedroom.
Added a £150 fee on which was not easily accessible in the small print so was told on arrival and had to pay £150 upfront on card which didn’t go back into account for 14 days.

Nice staff, but in need of some improvements. Not family friendly.
Pros:

Staff were friendly, although no one was to be seen in the morning.

Cons:

It was not clean, the bed was uncomfortable, the fan wasn't any good so the room was roasting, the whole property was in poor condition overall.

There was live music on until late, and they put me in a room knowing I had a 6 year, above the bar area.

Not what I expected
Pros:

It's was clean and so comfortable, the bed was amazing and the jet bath very enjoyable

Cons:

There were a few things broken in the room, the bathroom door and tiles around the bath. The shower screen didn't stay on the bath and kept banging against the sink which could make it smash if not careful.

Awful, would not recommend unless you like bad mould in your room
Pros:

Nothing. The location was poor, there was no secure parking like it stated. The bins were overflowing outside the front of the hotel, the lock to the room was smashed off the door. The shower and bathroom was filthy and the room was full of black mould. We left after 10 minutes.

Cons:

See above
