Erfolgreicher Berlinaufenthalt dank zentral gelegenem Hotel.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist geographisch hervorragend situiert. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten Berlins sind zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Die nächste U-Bahn-Station ist nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel weg. Insgesamt sind 4 U-Bahnlinien mühelos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und professionell. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, die Frühstückszeiten sind großzügig. Die Aufzüge im Haus funktionieren und die Dachterrasse ist eine Wucht.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Selbst wenn der Zimmernachbar nur flüstert, scheint es, als läge er im eigenen Bett. Das darf bei einem Zimmerpreis von über 160 € (ohne Frühstück) nicht passieren. Der störende Lärm dringt vermutlich durch die Klimaanlage ins Nachbarzimmer. Das Problem scheint dem Management bekannt zu sein, aber es wird nichts dagegen unternommen. Straßenlärm hört man dagegen so gut wie nicht. Die Technik im Zimmer funktionierte nicht immer einwandfrei. Der Zimmerdienst war an einem Tag etwas nachlässig. Die Ausstattung müsste dem Zimmerpreis entsprechend ein wenig mehr bieten (Kleiderschrank, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher).

The breakfast was a little different from what I normally get accustomed to coming from the USA. Mostly cold-cut, which I do use to.

Great Location
Pros:

Across the road from Gleisdreick station. We had a concert at the Tempodrom and this hotel was only a short walk to the venue. Good space in room and lots of storage space. Lovely view from roof terrace and Starbucks on the ground floor was a bonus.
