It was a short but fabulous stay.
Pros:

Newly renovated and only a small block from the beach. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Kleines Motel, Parken vor dem Zimmer möglich. Eine kleiner Rasenstreifen in der Mitte zum Entspannen mit Feuerstelle. Man konnte gratis Fahrräder leihen.
Zum Beach und Pier weniger als 10min zu Fuß.
Das Frühstück war sehr einfach auf winzigen Papptellern. Es gab Gebäck aus einer lokalen Bäckerei, gekochte Eier, Marmelade/Peanut Butter oder Cornflakes. Der Kaffee war leider nicht so gut..
Lt Beschreibung hat das Hotel einen Laundry-room, was nicht ganz richtig ist. Man konnte aber den Laundry-room des Franciscan Inn nebenan benutzen, hierfür an der Rezeption dort melden, sie haben uns dann aufgeschlossen. (Wäsche $2,50, Trockner $2,00 alles mit Quartern zu zahlen, an der Rezeption kann man Münzen tauschen)

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Unser Nachbar hat uns von 2-5Uhr nachts wach gehalten, laut gesprochen, geklopft, gestritten, gelacht. Der Motelbetreiber kann dafür natürlich nichts, aber man konnte auch niemandem Bescheid geben, da die Rezeption nachts nicht besetzt ist.
Der Frühstücksraum war sehr eng.

Perfect Santa Barbara getaway!
Pros:

I have only nice things to say about our stay at Marina Beach Inn. With so many hotels to choose from in Santa Barbara, it’s difficult making a decision. We wanted a place to bring our dog, that also has parking, free breakfast and very close to the beach and the wharf. This beautiful little gem checked all our boxes and more. They even offer free bikes. The rooms are nicely renovated, amazing grey+finch bathroom products, a perfect little kitchenette, everything was pristine clean and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely come back. We found our perfect Santa Barbara getaway!
