Comfy & Quiet, But Very Small
Pros:

▪︎ Room & bathroom in very nice condition, updated
▪︎ Good size fridge with substantial freezer
▪︎ Nice landscaping, fire pit, bikes available

Cons:

▪︎Parking area too small; no assigned parking spots, so once parking lot is full, you have to park around the corner
▪︎ Room was very small, smallest we've had.

The Franciscan Hotel

This review is about The Franciscan HoteI since I was sent to the Franciscan Hotel next to the Marina Beach Hotel due to overbooking. One of the cleanest and neat hotels I have ever stayed in, wonderful breakfast, loved the plants/trees outside. Very nice bathroom....loved how clean the towels were, the big refrigerator, and ALL plates, cups, utensils, sink...Everything was great BUT THE BED😪

Cons:

The bed REALLY needs to be changed! VERY uncomfortable, the bed sinks as soon you sit on it or lie down (doesn't matter the weight) the mattress go all the way down. Very flimsy bed! I had to place 3 pillows under myself to reduce back pain😪

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Large room with a foldout couch. Had a mini kitchen. The grounds were very pretty and had a fire pit, a patio, games. Location was amazing, a block from the beach. Good value and really good fresh pastries and bagels in the AM. (Not packaged danish like most hotel chains!)

Cons:

Really just the parking spots were not very deep and so larger vehicles made the drivable part of the area pretty tight.

Pros:

Great little motel within walking distance to the beach, the wharf and State street shops and restaurants. The property is clean, nice fire pit area, bikes provided, good breakfast and very friendly staff.
