Hyatt Place Chicago Medical/University District

Loved our room. Was very spacious and had everything you would need in a room.

Was here for an extended stay getting surgery at MOR. The second floor complimentary breakfast and gym were great to have during recovery. Staff were all wonderful and often checked in on me especially Maricela and Tracy. It’s a super convenient location if you have business in the medical center (hotel will coordinate you Ubers to and from) and right next to the United center (prepare to see all the concert merch). All in all great experience

The room was very clean

The location is very convenient to the United Center. I was nervous about walking back after the show I attended, but lots of people were walking in the same direction so it was fine. Staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. My room was larger than I expected and I slept well.

very beautiful hotel with a public transportation right across the street as well as two divvy bike stations nearby! the staff was friendly and always attentive to needs, my roommate was always kept clean and Tracy the security was super funny and kept me company while i waited for my food most days

The hotel was very clean, modern, and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and professional, always willing to help with anything I needed. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and well maintained, and the location made it easy to access nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Hyatt House Chicago medical/university district. We arrived from Michigan SUPER early (like 10 am) to attend a Cubs baseball game. We asked if we could just check into the parking lot early while we took an uber to the game (at 1) the staff was SO FRIENDLY and SWEET!! Toni and Morgan got us a vehicle pass, pre checked us into our room for later and offered morning banter and chit chat! They were both AMAZING!! At night (5 ish) when we came back Steven was again AMAZING with a quick hotel rundown, baseball highlights and friendly tips for dinner which led me to Charmaine upstairs!!! Just an absolute WONDERFUL human who made me the best stiff drink after a long day and engaged in delightful conversation with me while I waited for our dinner. This is one of the very best Chicago experiences I’ve every had as far as friendly, knowledgeable staff!!!

We have stayed here multiple times as our daughter is in medical school in Chicago. This gem is slowly being discovered as the most central convenient And well priced historic beautiful and well run hotel in Chicago. This latest stay was complicated by my recent shoulder surgery and the staff, consisting Maricelo and the whole front desk staff got me extra pillows and blankets as I had to sleep on the couch due to shoulder pain from recent surgery! we love this home away from home and have probably stayed here 30 nights in the last four years
