Pros:

Staff communication poor
Pros:

Clean. Well kept. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

Asked for bags to be stored, promised it would be done - given bag tag. Came back 8 hours later - bags still in lobby. New staff had no idea who bags belonged to. Good news - nothing stolen - bad news they were not secure at all. Could easily have been a real problem. Did not have to provide the bag tag to retrieve the bags- a simple “those are mine” was all that was required. Again not secure.

Good for a short stay
Pros:

The pool area is really nice, rooms are spacious, bathroom is big

Cons:

Lack of vegetables or anything to eat for breakfast
There are no hangers on the walls in the room just a very small wardrobe so clothes for 4 persons does not fit

Pool needs new sun chairs and would be nice with a bar outside to order from

Food was very disappointing
Hold of 50 dollar per night is too much it also takes many bank days to release it

Deserves 5 stars
Pros:

I have been trying to give less 5 star reviews but the Hyatt House deserves the 5 stars. The hotel is clean, the staff is excellent, the food (both the free breakfast and the H bar) is good. Sleep quality is fantastic. I was facing the airport and was not impacted by plane noise. The pool was not crowded and was nice. The price was competitive. No reason not to give it 5 stars

Nice comfortable stay.
Pros:

Hotel was really nice, clean and the room was spacious. We ended up with a room that had a kitchen and living room. The bedroom was a good size comfortable bed and nice size bathroom. The shower had great pressure. The gentleman at the front desk that checked us in was friendly and helpful. They had a full breakfast and it was good.

Favorite Tampa Hotel
Pros:

Room was great for my overnight stay. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Perfect location for early morning flight at TPA.

Great stay
Pros:

Everything!!! Peaceful, clean, good breakfast, Tiffany and Anthony at the front desk is my favorites. I will always make Hyatt House my second home!!!

Not for vacation
Pros:

The front desk staff, Tiffany, Vicki and Clair amazing customer service! I was staying here for surgery. Did not know exactly what day I was checking out. I changed the days twice. They were very accommodating. Also offered late check out. Safe location, nice bar/dining room area. Free breakfast had plenty to choose from. The shutter driver to and from the hospital was accommodating as I was the last to leave the hospital.

Great front desk staff
Pros:

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. She was friendly when we called to say we were going to get there much later than expected and she was alert, friendly, helpful, and welcoming when we checked in (after 11pm). Our room was very clean and well appointed and the bed was comfortable. I was happy that there was an extra blanket in the room as my husband is always hot and I am always cold.
