Location was superb. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the food was excellent. The bar staff couldn’t be more helpful, brilliant.
The breakfast staff were unfriendly but the food was excellent.
Smoking in the outside restaurant area is a problem for me. I do think there should be specific areas for smokers, sorry.

I loved the food and the outdoor eating area. I even had friends who were staying somewhere else come over and eat dinner and they also LOVED the food. I loved that there were TVS with soccer playing in the lobby and out back as a big soccer fan. The room was clean; however, it was smaller than I anticipated and a little darker. But the location could not have been better. the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding. For the rate and the fact that I made reservation the same day, I was very satisfied. I would stay there again.
Really my only two complaints was that there was no bottle of water provided in room when checked in. Also, there was a false fire alarm late at night when I was in the shower. I had been trapped in a fire before so it just was an extra little anxiety-inducing moment. The first alert was in Portuguese and I didn;t know what it said. The English version didn;t come until at least a minute after. I was unable to sleep the rest of the night. I realize it;s better to. be safe than sorry, but it was a stressful occurrence.

This is an absolute gem, staff cant do enough for you, secluded garden with a pool and outside bar. In a very good location to explore the city being close to bus routes and trams. Food is exceptional, as is the wine selection, rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. I stopped for four nights for a city break and wasn't at all disappointed. Safe to say I'll be going back.
