Nice Japanese-style accommodation
Pros:

Very clean and modern on a very nice Japanese style decor. There was plenty of hot water and we liked the onsen style bathing room. The was small but adequate.

Cons:

The dining room was a typical Japanese style tatami room with low table and chair backs to help sit on the floor. However, we could not sit there because we are elderly westerners not used to sitting on the floor. So, the only place we could sit was on the low couch which again was not very comfortable for us. There were no regular chairs to sit on. The situation is not the hotels fault, as I’m sure the accommodations would have been just fine for Japanese folks or younger people.

Great facilities and on a lovely street with interesting shops.
Pros:

Comfortable and clean room with good facilities. In a nice street. V quick, helpful responses to messaging. They let us know our suitcases (which we forwarded) had arrived.

Cons:

Wasn’t keen on the breakfast.
Staff weren’t always on the premises, though we got very quick and helpful responses to messages.

Perfect.
Pros:

This was a spectacular hotel with a kitchen and dining area. It had lovely tiny front yard and we were swept into the calm beauty away from the bustle of the city. It was so exceptional, with very friendly staff. I would recommend it to everyone.

An enjoyable stay
Pros:

The property is located 10 minutes from the station and 5 minutes to the markets. Room was a good size with comfortable beds, a kitchenette and a modern bathroom.

Pros:

Love the location !!!
Great room size ( 2 Double Bed Room ) for 2 adults
Very Quiet area with Mall across the main street ( lower grocery store with vendors inside )
Starbucks close if u need it

Cons:

Nothing with Apartment it was awesome
Thought Omichi Market was more than a raw fish only market .

My favourite hotel of well researched three week trip highly recommend
Pros:

Friendly helpful reception Lady
Good sized room (supposed it depends on what you book). Pedestrianised quiet road.
Clean, light and windows that open or air con
Great location - close to station but not too close . Close to market and not bad for castle. Great Restaurants in Walking distance. Best place on our trip so far (and unlikely to be beaten). Highly recommend.

Cons:

Overly complicated lights and water heaters. Tip. Pull plug on toilet before going to bed do it doesn’t make 10 mins noise every time you go for a w ee. Just don’t pull out green earth cable too.

Luxury self catering apartment in ideal location
Pros:

Wonderful location along a nicer quiet road with some cute shops and cafes. Easy to walk to Kenrokuen and the castle from there. Very nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great to be able to cook for ourselves and the laundry room was a bonus

Cons:

The water pressure to the kitchen sink was very weak and the water didn’t get very hot so washing up was a challenge. But our daughters in the flat below didn’t have this problem
