Our first hotel on our North Island itinerary and it didn't disappoint. Great location, with lovely options for food and being close to the ferry for our Waiheke Island visit was also a bonus. The hotel itself was modern, focussed on sustainability and has all that you need.

shower is unpleasant with water covering toilet area. Lighting could be better. Food is pricey at Kingi.

Asking for and extra nights stay , even though we were given 20 % discount it seemed high and felt as guests we weren’t given a reasonable deal. Having said that we still enjoyed our time and would like to come back.
We held our wedding service and reception at the hotel. It could not have been any better well exceeded our expectations. Right from the start seven months ago the communication and commitment from our planner was outstanding. Nothing was ever a problem and she was fantastic. It was a magical day through and through. All the staff were amazing. Highly recommend The Hotel Britomart.
The Hotel Britomart is a quiet boutique hotel in the CBD area and close to the waterfront. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for attentive service and to stay away from the bigger hotel brands (which are also nearby). I would definitely consider The Hotel Britomart in the future. The room was clean and comfortable and even though I was on a lower floor, I did not hear any noise from traffic or pedestrians. If you are visiting AKL, for sure give it a try.
This is such a wonderful Hotel - the location is awesome - I would not stay on location alone though, - as you enter the Hotel the aroma in the reception area is super lovely and it relaxes you before you even get greeted by the wonderful staff. The rooms are lovely and it is just all round a wonderful experience.
