Pros:

Great place to stay. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Hand to everything in Kaikoura. Beautiful beach right across the road with amazing sunrise. Would definitely stay again.

Good location and comfortable for overnight however lacked towels and bathmat.
Pros:

Good location - clean and comfortable with good kitchen facility.

Cons:

No hand towels , no shelf in bathroom. Also no hooks for clothes in bathroom and no bathmat - as it was a “wet” bathroom the entire floor was slippery.

Amazing location with excellent rooms and friendly staff
Pros:

The 30m to the beach with perfect sunrise.
The 1hr trek to see the seal colony and the full 3hr trek around the peninsula

The café and restaurants in the main street only 10mins walk.

Hotel had full kitchens and went further by offering salt/pepper and oil. The New World supermarket does delivery.

Staff helped out and made us feel welcome even during the holidays.

Cons:

The beach is a stone beach. Don't come expecting sand.

Pros:

Lovely comfortable apartments, which suits our group of 4 down tithe ground, n very roomy.

Cons:

So close ti sea, and you can see more than a glimpse, e have booked 8n for next year 2027 as well now, as have been given a discount for staying there quite a bit.

Pros:

Great view right by the sea, has everything we need, great water pressure. Most importantly, host is so friendly and helpful. We were there when Kaikoura had a flooding emergency, and the host was very accommodating about our situation, and provided valuable guidance and support. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great experience in Kaikoura!

A really comfortable stay.
Pros:

The unit was really well set up for a stay of a few days. Roomy and comfortable

Cons:

Nothing really. one small thing was the size of the crockery bowls. They werev way too small for breakfast cereal.

A lovely clean, warm and comfy room with amazing view.
Pros:

The location is perfect, overlooking the beach. We watched an amazing sunrise over the sea from our room(No 2)
The place was spotlessly clean, warm and had very comfy beds. We will definitely be back.

Cons:

The only thing would be that there was a spa bath with a shower over it. I talked with the lovely owner, and she said they were thinking of changing the bath for a walk-in shower. It wouldn't stop me going back though.

Warm and comfortable but small master bedroom. Fine for a one night stay.

Instructions for the washing machine were great but need to have further instructions about using the dryer.
