I would like to bring to your attention my situation regarding a misleading room description that resulted in unexpected additional expenses during my stay.

When made my reservation through Booking.com I selected a room advertised as accommodating three guests, with an additional sofa bed. Based on this description, I reasonably expected that the sofa bed would be suitable for a third adult guest.

However, upon arrival at the hotel, I discovered that the "sofa bed" was actually a small chair with an extension. The hotel staff informed me that, according to the hotel's policy, this sleeping arrangement is intended only for a child and is not suitable or permitted for an adult. This important restriction was not disclosed anywhere in the Booking.com listing.

Because the room could not accommodate three adults as advertised, I had no choice but to book an additional room at the hotel. This unexpected expense exceeded USD $200.

I believe the Booking.com listing was misleading because it failed to clearly state that the extra bed was only intended for children. Had this information been disclosed before booking, I would have selected a different accommodation or reserved two rooms from the beginning.
