Posada Buda-Tortuga

We had to upgrade to get a quiet room, there was no shampoo & the room was not cleaned during our stay. The bed was also sunken in the center.

Me gustaría que el servicio de bar y alberca fuera hasta más tarde como en otros lugares ya que íbamos de festejo y todo cerro a las 7-8 ... Y por otro lado creo que sería bueno revisar el aire acondicionado porque hace demasiado ruido

Our room was at the back of the hotel beside the staff kitchen, we were woken each morning at 7am by staff shouting outside our room. We made a complaint and there was no action taken. The bathroom is connected to the main road partially walled by a fly net so the noise from the main road is constant. To top it off it off there is construction next door which is also constant. Do not stay here if you value a restful night sleep. The aircon is right above the bed and fluctuates between too cold and too warm. The hotel has potential but falls short. The staff also appear disinterested and clueless.

There was no prior notification of the hotel's own construction work nor that there was a large construction site right next door with constant hammering and power tools. Despite being promised a room move twice both times came to nothing. The person running the place was hopeless. We'd booked for a week but it was so bad we left after 3 days and sacrificed the cost - it was that bad. There are many other places to stay close by that are much better than this place. Our experience was awful.

Creo que el precio por lo que se ofrece es mucho y por como está montado el hotel.

The hotel is massively overpriced and it is maximum a two star posada. The external areas of the hotel are not well maintained. The covers on the beach chairs are not changed for days and people from outside the hotel are lying there without towels. There is no restaurant, they get the food in from somewhere else. None of the staff speak even one word of English and some of them do not seem very motivated. One day they were rebuilding and we could not use the area outside our room. Please see picture attached. The owner was no prepared to talk to us about this. No one told us beforehand and we still paid full price.
We let the posada know in advance that it was our sons birthday on the day of arrival and they said they would mark the occasion, they did nothing and our son was very disappointed.
When you get out of the pool you skin itches badly and we are not sure how clean it is.
In twenty five years of travelling around the world, this is the worst value hotel we have ever stayed in and this is an honest review.
This hotel relies on the location and the pool, which in no way justifies the inflated price.

Faltaban ventanas en la habitación

Very noisy room. Literally on the road side. The room has its wall against the footpath/road. Its only one main road thru town and the room shakes from all the traffic. The photo attached shows you glass tiles, thats the bathroom and beside it a bamboo door, thats the bedroom wall.
Very expensive considering there's no safe, tv, kettle, shampoo. Only cold water in the basins. No sheet change and we had to ask for the towels to be changed because they hung them back up for us to use again. This was the most money we spent on a hotel in Mexico out of 6 hotels.
We booked this hotel because it had carparking. Luckily Alberto let us park in the driveway after 3 different staff said we couldn't. I assume the parking used to be next door but now there is construction site.
This said, I would stay at this hotel again.

Menu for breakfast and lunch and dinner quite limited.
After a power disruption, the Internet in our room was completely down. We stayed another three days, but nobody cared. The owner realized that it does not work, but did not offer any help. Strange. But when it came to payment he became very interested in every detail.

The bed was really bad. It was like laying in big holes. Also airco should not point at the bed. It was either to hot or too cold. In the morning, it was noisy from 7-8ish. Did not sleep good. For this price i expected better. Owner should take action, staff was doing all they can.
