Breakfast was amazing. Some staff were very motivated and some were not. There was an amazing employee at the reception

Cons:

We had a terrible last dinner. We ordered entrecôte steaks. We got cheated!!! It was not an entrecôte cut. It was soooo hard and tasteless. I returned my steak. The others ate it. It was awful. They still charged us.

This is a good 3* hotel charging 5* prices.

Breakfast was very disappointing, poor choice of cereals ,fruit and no bread rolls as “ the bakery is closed today “
Also the coffee machine was broken so there was lukewarm warm self service instant coffee.
Very disappointing for just under £500 for one night ! Even by Norway prices this is very high for what we got .

the restaurant opposite the hotel was great

Amazing breakfast... never had something so nice before. I very nice restaurant and you can order more from the kitchen than the amazing buffet. We stayed in some nice places but that one was the best. One other place had an espresso bar and that's the only way that we liked that place better.

The rooms all have an amazing view and a very short walk to a post-card worthy picture... it was so amazing that when I got home and looks, I thought "was that actually my picture or is this AI" :)

Cons:

It would be nice to have a shuttle to/from Flam as we took the train. We did book a Vu bus but a shuttle would be better. Still not a huge problem because there were regular bus routes back to Flam.
