Hotel Ethnograph old Tbilisi

The door to the room could be opened just in a half - problems with a door or floor.
Narrow curtains - the light outside disturbed at night.
BUT
Quite friendly staff - the registratoin was fast and friendly.
Good breakfast - homemade tasty dishes.
Nice location - inside downtown.

Why so low rate - I made a booking of this hotel on other site - after posting the feedback they cancelled my booking and deleted review whith feedback that I was not living there. Absolutely unfriendly behavior after staying there.

Nice stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Wifi is good, plug sockets on each side and a quiet AC unit.

Good location for walking down into the centre (takes 5-10 minutes) with lots of bars and restaurants near.

This is one of worst place I know. It is almost impossible to find it, then you get a tiny room with no day-light, no room for 2 suit-cases and our room was not the only one without day-light. The breakfast was served in a unfriendly, cold basement, to get it we had to weak up the receptionist, on the 2nd day there was no breakfast, the lady on the reception refused to understand English, so we went to a bakery and had a fine breakfast. If you need a place for some hours rest to wait for a plane, it might be ok, but it is not a hotel. In Georgia in general you have to be very, very careful with ratings !!

Hotels.com'dan rez. gerceklestirmis olduğum otelden oda olmadigi gerekçesi ile başka bir otele yönlendirildim. Bu hiç hoşuma gitmedi, gittiğim otel daha küçük bir oteldi.

Wife and I stayed here for 5 nights--prepaid by our tour company. The hotel says 3-star, it isn't. Maybe a 2-star. The personnel are great, wanting to help. The rooms are very small, cramped. Two adults with two suitcases need to be very nimble to navigate the room safely. The location is in the 'Old City' that is the place you want to stay, just in another hotel.

Great location and very helpful staff , they helped in every possible way , They were very friendly and they made my stay there great , I would definitely recommend it for short and on a budget staying ……

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is new and rooms and bath are still need improvements. Location is easy to find

it was a good experience in old tbilisi. the hotel is small, but so beautiful and cozy. almost all attractions are within walking distance. bus stop in front of the hotel. nearby and cafes and shops. were treated to tea, coffee and wine for free! wonderful place!

The hotel adorable.very cleaned & cosy with friendly and helpful staff .The service is always in time.The old Tbilisi starts just by walking distance from the hotel.I recommend the hotel and it is worth to stay here.
