Location in town center
Quiet
Staff was indifferent. Maybe a language barrier.
Central
Stairs
Staff were excellent
Went above and beyond expectations
Nothing
Excellent location for the Normandy tours and reasonably close to the train station. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Be prepared to climb narrow stairs. The restaurant is very good, but the waitress we had did not like speaking English!
Staff (some, not all) were not terribly friendly.
Posizione
Camera piccola
Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Two sets of steps was a bit difficult with baggage. WiFi could not be used in bed.
Two sets of steps was a bit difficult with baggage. WiFi could not be used in bed. Parking was a 10+ minute walk from hotel but you can stop at hotel to drop and pickup baggage.
Proximity to the town
No heating in the rooms
The entire staff at the hotel and restaurant were extremely nice and helpful. A big plus on the location and restaurant on site. The hotel is literally in the middle of all the action in town. Easy to get to all the Normandy D-Day sites and other cultural activities. There is also a laundromat a short distance away.
The only negatives are the lack of parking near the hotel. They do not have any dedicated parking spaces but there are pay sites via meters. This was not a major issue but something they might want to consider working with the town in the future.
Its location. It was really good value for money. Our room was tiny but really comfortable- we both slept really well. The receptionist was lovely.
The restaurant. The food wasn’t great - I couldn’t actually cut my steak to eat it- and the staff were less friendly.
Incredibly central, we were in the annex, very comfortable room, and quiet at night.
Perfectly located in Bayeux. Good breakfast
Rooms was very cramped and cleanliness was poor at times
It was clean and convenient. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant was convenient and service and food was good.
Nothing
Location, close to train and everything in town…stores, restaurants, attractions. Breakfast buffet was very diverse
Pillows were fine but half could have been a bit firmer
The staff was amazing and the rooms/bed were very comfortable. The room was super cozy.
The ONLY thing I did not like was the fact that there was no elevator. Originally I was given a room on the 3rd floor. The lady at the front desk which was a sweetheart, was able to move me to the 1st floor.
Great location
Rather small
Very comfortable room with a nice view. Staff were very helpful and accommodating which was much appreciated
