Pleasant small hotel near the border with Basel
Pros:

Breakfast was pretty good.
Room was clean.
Aircon available.
Several TV programmes.
Location (it is near the tram to Basel).
The little "veranda" outside.

Cons:

Absence of staff after noon, particularly for checking in (automat must be used then) and minor issues, e.g. something is missing or needed. Not everybody wants to use the emergency phone number for a piece of missing shampoo. Also, on an eSIM I cannot make any calls.

Onpersoonlijk en minder comfortabel dan vroeger

Kamer was netjes

Cons:

Ondanks dat je gratis kan parkeren moet je wel iedere anderhalf uur tobben met parkeerschijven tot 21:00
uur.
Het inchecken is nu via een apparaat bij de voordeur. Meteen betalen. Daarna een foutmelding en geen sleutel. Dus bellen en wachten tot er iemand komt. Een stuk minder prettig dan de persoonlijke verwelkoming die er vroeger was.
