Great weekend stay
Pros:

A great place for the weekend. Our room was a great size with lots of daylight and a comfy large bed. The guest lounge with free continental breakfast on offer was a real bonus.
The staff were all very nice and helpful.
There is also a cafe below the hotel rooms serving delicious cooked breakfast lunches roasts cakes and drinks.
Would definitely recommend this place.

Pros:

Great welcome. Was supposed to be sharing a room with my son and Richard (owner) gave us two rooms instead - really nice of him. Great breakfast in the morning - can see why it’s so popular with cyclists and walkers as a stop.

Great for rail enthusiasts
Pros:

This is a must stay for any rail enthusiast. Loved the decor. The owner was extremely accommodating after we messed up our booking. Room was comfortable and clean. South Brent is a lovely little Devon village, very convenient for heading to Plymouth. Plenty of free parking near to the hotel.

Cons:

the weather was exceptionally hot and the room was uncomfortably warm overnight. But there was a good shower and a fridge with cold drinking water.

The station house has a very cool history. The location is in a quaint little town off the beaten path.
