Emplacement super agréable pour profiter des boutiques. L’accueil est incroyable, tout le monde est aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner proposer du salé et du sucré, de quoi bien commencer la journée.
La literie est confortable, un point important pour moi.
La douche sans rideau et au milieu de la salle de bain, ce qui fait qu’on inonde toute la salle de bain si on veut prendre une douche.

The accom staffs were friendly and supportive. Location is in center of the town where we will get all. If you like enjoy the night life, this is the perfect space. Rooms were clean.
What an adventure. I arrived at Nepal without much plan, only aiming to get ACT trek done and find out what’s available. Staying at the Thamel Boutique Hotel was just right start and everything worked out. The hotel’s location is right smack in the middle of Thamel - 3 Money exchanges within 100ft, 2 hr laundry service behind the corner and there’s authentic Korean restaurant right across the front door. It’s just not ‘fusion Korean’ - just genuine Korean cuisine. I was home with all these amenities. The facilities of the hotel is way beyond its price range. Sure, you won’t expect Four Seasons or Ritz in Nepal, but the room layout and the cleanliness of the bedding is just impeccable. The ample desk space was so helpful to organize the gears and clothes before trekking. Especially the help of staffs is well above any established hotel chains. The front guy Saroj was my virtual assistant throughout the 4 weeks journey. He constantly checked my whereabouts and well being. When I stopped over between Annapurna treks and Everest Basecamp trek, all my transit luggage’s were ready at the hotel and quickly flew over the Lukla. After finishing EBC, coming back to this hotel felt like coming home. Again Saroj did everything he could do when I was stuck at Lukla couple of days and made sure my return journey secure. All other staffs were also genuinely welcoming every guest. The lobby is not elaborately luxurious, but this is your true Basecamp for Nepal adventure. Enjoy the hotel, enjoy the Kathmandu and enjoy the Nepal!

We were picked up from the airport, which was very pleasant after a long journey. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. But what stood out the most was the staff — incredibly kind and sincere people who were always there and ready to help at any moment.

We had a great stay in this Hotel. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful (we had 2 bicycles and guys helped to arrange airport transfer) and friendly and breakfast was also good.

I stayed at the Thamel Boutique Hotel for one night in February 2026 and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable, situated right in the center of Thamel with restaurants, shops, and clubs all within easy walking distance.
The service was top-notch; the staff were incredibly supportive and welcoming. My room was spotlessly clean and tidy, providing a comfortable retreat from the bustling streets. To top it off, the breakfast was excellent with a great variety.

I had visited and stayed at this hotel on my family trip to Nepal from 6th May to 13th May . We were 8 people and spent 5 days at this hotel. The food , the hotel, the room and the staff were really nice . The staff is fluent in Hindi and English so there is no communication barrier. The food is really amazing and caters to Indians palate so you hardly miss home .The hotel is close to all shopping markets and religious places . We all loved this place and recommend staying here .

Location, location, location
It's a nice hotel with very friendly staff right in the comercial area... it has a nice rooftop where we can eat breakfast and other meals. The negative points it can be noisy as there is a disco near by and we had to ask to have our room clean and the bed made every day for our 3 nights stay
Great location. Right in the middle of Thamel, walking distance from some amazing restaurants and shopping area. The staff was very helpful - calling taxis, recommending places to visit and advising on the weather.

We used this hotel before and after trekking in the Everest region - it was a wonderful, calm stay whilst being conveniently located to lots of shops and restaurants in the Thamel area. The hotel staff were really helpful showing us where to find things in the local area, and even made up a takeaway breakfast for the early flight up to Lukla. Saroj was also brilliant at communicating with us when we needed to change our plans for the return stay. Would highly recommend!
