Pros:

A very welcoming hotel at the entrance of Montalcino. It’s located just a five-minute walk from the town center. Very nice owners, very clean, nicely appointed room and bathroom, relaxing pool (not heated), well-organized parking, and yummy Italian-style breakfast. We felt very much at home at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera and also considered Montalcino as an excellent base for discovering Tuscany.

Pros:

Mi è piaciuta molto la struttura, tradizionale con una splendida terrazza con panorama mozzafiato. Possibile fare un'ottima colazione in terrazza. C'è anche una,piccola piscina rinfrescante. Personale gentilissimo.

Cons:

La cameretta per solo traveller è un pò piccola.

Över förväntan, fint och rent och läget är det bästa tänkbara. ett ställe att återvända till.
Pros:

Bra frukost med Italienska mått mätt. Härlig frukost altan, som vi även använde ett par gånger för egen medtagen kvällsmåltid. Hotellet säljer vin och drinkar, så man behöver bara ordna med eget tilltugg/mat. Fantastiskt bra läge med vidunderlig utsikt över berg och dalar.

Fabulous hotel
Pros:

Great location so close to old town. Fabulous views from our room , the pool area and outside breakfast patio. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and water pressure was great. Staff were very accommodating to our very arrival. They had suggestions for fabulous restaurants and assisted w our luggage while we parked the car. Continental breakfast was complete and delicious.

Cons:

The parking was very convenient- just next to hotel but down a steep and narrow street.
