Categories

Cleanliness
10
Multiple reviews report serious issues (bedbug bites, cockroaches, persistent smoke odor) despite some mentions of clean shared facilities; overall cleanliness is a clear negative.
Service
10
Mixed: host greeted guests warmly and showed them around, but there was a notable check-in/security blunder and inconsistent front-desk handling; customer-facing staff showed both positives and service lapses.
Location
10
Convenient for transport and sightseeing (5-minute walk to train, shrines/temples nearby) but some guests found the immediate area uncomfortable or unsafe at times.
Room Quality
10
Negative reports on mattresses, uncomfortable pillows, worn bedding and very limited storage space; while some rooms are private and functional, room comfort is an issue.
Amenities
10
Good in-room amenities for value (private toilet, fridge, TV, gender-separated showers on multiple floors) but some complaints about Wi-Fi outage and pest presence affect perceived amenity quality.
Value for Money
10
Multiple guests explicitly call out excellent value (e.g., low nightly rate for a private room with facilities); strong positive on price-to-features.
Food and Beverage
10
Guests appreciated nearby breakfast/food options that showcase local character; the hotel itself does not have prominent F&B offerings mentioned.
Overall Experience
10
Mixed overall: several guests would return and praise value and location, but serious cleanliness and occasional service/security incidents significantly impacted some stays.

Cons:

AC did not work. Did not have proper luggage storage. Made me wait till exactly 3pm for check in even though the room was ready and it was keypad entry.

Cons:

Bassa pulizia rispetto allo standars giapponese (pavimento appiccicoso)

Pros:

Cons:
