Wundervolle Lage oberhalb von Drake Bay im Wald. Einfach ausgestattete aber sehr gepflegte Hütten mit Balkon direkt Richtung Wald zum Affen beobachten :-)
Leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen nach Vorbestellung. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber die schon im Vorhinein Hilfe bei Tourbuchung etc. anbieten.
Anfang Mai von Rincon aus mit dem Auto relativ gut zu erreichen.

El personal muy top! Y la ubicación coincide exactamente con la descripción, se encuentra en medio de la selva pero es muy accesible.

The hosts go out of their way to help us during our stay. We felt really comfortable and the place is beautiful.

Wir hatten hier einen der besten Aufenthalte unserer gesamten Reise. Die Cabins sind geräumig, bestehen nur aus Holz und sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt ein Badezimmer und einen Balkon. Die Cabins sind mitten im Regenwald und im Garten der Unterkunft kann man Vögel, Affen und Schmetterlinge beobachten.
Die beiden Gastgeber sind super lieb, höflich, bemüht und engagiert. Sie geben tolle Ausflugstipps und helfen beim organisieren von Touren. Man merkt, wie viel Arbeit und Liebe sie in ihr Projekt stecken.
Das Essen war immer super lecker. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt hier absolut empfehlen!

The room was cosy, with a nice little balcony to observe nature.
The hosts were very nice and welcoming and went beyond what was expected.
I got to meet the house parrot who flies around freely all daynand comes home to eat and sleep. A troop of capucin monkeys visited casually and in the morning we gotwake up calls by the howler monkeys. Perfect !

Beautiful and quiet place ! So many animals around the garden. Hosts are great and friendly. Food is great too.

The super friendly host, Erickson. The beautiful surroundings. We had monkeys jumping from tree to tree right next to the lodges. Kitchen so that you can prepare your own food. The ceiling fan keeps you cool at night. Close to Drake Bay.

The hotel has great manager, who helped us to enjoy our stay, organize trips etc. The hotel is located directly in a tropical forest. We observed tropical birds from the garden of the property, listened to howler monkeys every morning...

We were looking to stay in an open cabin to feel close to then jungle, with friendly people, and this was exactly that. You wakeup to Tucans, parrots, sounds of howling monkeys, and a family of capuchins (20) visited the cabins while we were there (photos from the site). The site has a few cabins and a common area with a shared large kitchen. You can also order meals if you didn't want to cook yourself (breakfast/lunch/dinner). The location is surrounded by jungle, 10 minutes before Drake Bay downtown. You need a 4x4 to drive to Drake Bay from Uvita. The road to the cabins from the main street was good, no steep inclines and parking is easy. Erikson and his family were extremely friendly and helpful. When we had car issues, he was happy to help. His mom made tasty meals. Everyone was really attentive. They also have laundry service. Erikson can help you book tours, such as Corcovado. It was a perfect stay in the middle of the jungle surrounded by nicest people for 4 nights!!

We really liked it. Clean, spacious and the hosts are exceptional.

The property is somewhat remote and hence frequently attracts wildlife like monkeys and toucans.
The quaint cabins have a small balcony facing the jungle that is very tranquil and private.
Shower has open swinging window so you can shower looking out into the jungle.
The staff of Erickson and his mom are amazing, with mama cooking homemade food upon request at affordable prices.
They are the nicest people !

The setting of the property is absolutely gorgeous in the beautiful jungle, with many opportunities to see wildlife right there. Erickson and his family go above and beyond with making the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I was taken on an afternoon walk on my first afternoon to get to know the birds and wildlife. I went without a car and Erickson constantly helped me with taxi transfers, which they run from a separate family business. Maria, the mother, cooked delicious meals from scratch every evening (for the full duration of my 5 night stay) and it was the best meals I had in CR. All my tours were also arranged for me, which were all fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The lodge is about 5km away from the harbour, but the operator Erickson organized the transfer for us. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by 2 macaws and toucans. Wendy prepared our breakfast and dinner (also vegetarian) every day, even at 5am, so that we could set off on our tours feeling full. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Drake Bay, this is the place for you.

This place is absolutely amazing. You feel like you are living in the jungle and the pura vida spirit at its maximum. Erikson, the manager, and his family are super nice and helpful. Erikson will help you with anything and will make your time in the peninsula very much easier. The cabans are simple but perfect. You take every day a shower just like if you were in the jungle. They also prepare very good food. All prices are very low. Highly highly recommended !

Erickson and his family were very warm and inviting, we had a lot of fun. The cabins are basic but have everything you need, comfy bed and very clean on arrival with lovely deck looking out to the jungle. Erickson can arrange transport if you need it and a traditional breakfast. They brought us coffee whenever requested. We saw scarlet macaws, toucans, and lots of birds. The grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. We felt very welcome here.

Great place in the countryside, the owner's son spoke very good English, all problems were able and willing to solve. there is a warm family atmosphere. In the end I cooked dinner in the owner's kitchen alone for the whole family, we talked for a long time afterwards.....

Very sympathic host and a beautiful familiy raised lodge! Best service you can imagine. Sourrounded by only rainforest.
