Tranquil paradise on the beach
Pros:

The staff were what make Amani so special. In particular, Robert, Elizabeth, Josephin, Suleiman, Pendo and Rahma were outstanding and made our stay memorable. The private beach is pristine and an incredibly relaxing and welcoming hotel.

Cons:

Island-wide, Zanzibar suffers from intermittent power outages from time to time, which travellers should be aware of, though the hotel maintenance team aims to fix with the backup generator as quickly as possible.

Beautiful property really enjoyed it 🩷
Pros:

Thank you! We really enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing and quiet. The hotel is beautiful, set right on a perfect beach, beautiful decor, rooms are very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, the staff do an amazing job. Note the rooms are in the main building and not individual villas. The staff in the restaurant and housekeeping are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The food was pretty good, nice variety. The massage is excellent although can get noisy as right next to the pool.

Cons:

Some small things that could make this hotel even better:
It’s a very small resort with just the one restaurant and bar for all meals and drinks which would be nice to have a second option for variety, perhaps a bar closer to the beach.
The other point is the pool area: it really needs umbrellas around the pool. Impossible to lie flat on the loungers on the beach with the umbrellas. Had to switch loungers every time I needed sun/ shade which is not very relaxing. Also, it would be so helpful if the pool boy would bring towels to the guests when they take a lounger. He is not busy at all and it’s a nice service most five stars offer!

Pros:

The view and the hotel itself its quite charming

Cons:

Property is ok but not much attention to details in terms of Hsk and no turn down service , for this price will expect more . The food is also pretty basic , not good food

Trevligt men saknar personlighet
Pros:

tt bra boende i förhållande till priset, med nära till stranden. När vi var där i mars var det tyvärr ganska mycket alger på stranden, vilket gjorde att vi inte badade där så mycket.

Hotellet är litet och väldigt intimt, vilket skapar en mysig och lugn känsla. Poolområdet är trevligt och maten är helt okej med tanke på att man är i Tanzania. Sammantaget ett trevligt ställe att bo på.

Cons:

Jag tyckte att maten kändes ganska tråkig och att rätterna liknade varandra mycket när det gäller ingredienser.

Man blir också ganska bunden till hotellområdet. Stranden upplevdes som ansträngande eftersom det är många försäljare där, och hela området känns ganska inhägnat.

Eftersom hotellet är så litet och det rör sig mycket personal runt omkring kan man ibland känna sig lite iakttagen.

Vid ankomsten upplevde jag dessutom att receptionisten hade ett väldigt inövat sätt att välkomna gäster, vilket gjorde att bemötandet kändes mindre personligt. Överlag saknar både personalen och hotellet en mer personlig och varm känsla.
