Not what you expect
Pros:

The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and lovely right from our arrival.

Cons:

The hotels location is a bit out of the way and there is a decent amount of walking required to get to anything reasonable ie. Restaurants, historic sites etc. The area directly around the hotel could be described as quite run down and grungy.

Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for two days and can highly recommend it! Our room was spacious, and many of the city's attractions were within easy walking distance from the hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Comfortable, centrally located Athens hotel, perfect for families, friendly and helpful staff!
Pros:

Colors is a wonderful hotel, it is centrally located, walking distance from all major sites. Everything is practical in the hotel, it is really thought out for travelers and families. We loved the breakfast buffet too and the staff were super helpful for recommendations and reserving taxis for us. Highly recommend! We stayed end of June for three nights, family of 4.

Hotel as expected with everything you might need.
Pros:

Nice small property, located not far from the city center. I have spent one night and the experience was a very positive one. The room is not very big but comfortable, good pressure in the shower, quality towels and comfy beds. The breakfast is very good, fresh food, quality ingredients and good coffee made by a staff member using a pro machine.

Cons:

No negative moments or improvement suggestions.

The hotel itself is nice, and the location is very good.

Cons:

I think it fell below expectations of the current booking.com rating of 8.7. The room was a bit dated and well used, maybe needed some fresh paint. Although my room was facing the back yard and hence quiet, the plumbing in the bathroom was quite loud whenever somebody else (on a different floor?) was using it. There was no door to the bathroom so there isn't really anything one could do about it. The wifi next to the bed was working intermittently, perhaps weak signal was due to the room being the last one down the corridor. I found a dead cockroach in the shower as I was stepping out of it. Whether it was dead initially or it drowned while I was taking a shower remains a mystery. The shower itself had dark grey tiles so I can understand how it may be difficult to spot during cleaning. Overall, I felt like there was mismatch between my expectations and the reality.
