Just adore this hotel. Can't beat the convenience for events at TCU. The staff always goes above and beyond. Took my dog this time and she had a great stay too (Woof). Rooms are large and beds are cozy.
Very nice spacious room. Enjoyed the pool with my grandkids. Great location. Down the street from the TCU soccer field.
Very welcoming and comfortable hotel in a great location near TCU, Ft. Worth Zoo, and many great restaurants. And the rooftop bar was an unexpected bonus.
My family and I stopped for 2 nights on our way to Corpus Christi. We loved the location! It was perfect as it was close to the hustle and bustle of Fort Worth, but far enough away that it was relaxing. My 9 and 4 year olds loved the pool and all of the breakfast choices. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming every time we came through the entrance from excursions. I ended up waking up one morning with severe eye pain (ended up being a scratched cornea) and they were extremely helpful in guiding my husband to a very nice urgent care. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through Fort Worth!
excellent stay, great location near TCU, restaurants, shopping, quiet, and one of the best Hyatt Place's I've been to, great top patio for viewing the city and excellent swimming pool outdoors.
very good service. Enjoyed the rooftop bar & its views and a very good breakfast with lots of options during our one night stay
The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast had tons of options, the restaurant service was great and the food was delicious.
The location is great for TCU families. The room is fine but very typical Hyatt. The bathroom has good lighting. The staff is friendly and tries very hard to be helpful. The LOT 12 restaurant on the roof is a big benefit with great food, service, views and very friendly staff.
There is zero room service, no robe or slippers, bathroom was barely acceptable cleanliness, not much water pressure in shower and no magnifying mirror. It was very pricey considering the lack of amenities. I had to call to get my room serviced at the end of two days because they forgot/skipped my room. I was careful to remove my "do not disturb" sign because the first day I forgot. BUT, they skipped my room on two of the following days.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely close to TCU and nearby businesses. It was mostly quiet but my room was right above a busy street and in the morning it was not entirely quiet. But relative to the experience, it was a good 4 days.
This hotel is excellent in every way. Very nice accomodations, excellent staff, super clean, very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay again!
A great hotel. I stay here a couple times a year. Kat and Simon are the best up at the Lot 12 bar. Check it out! Love the full sized bottles of soap/shampoo in the showers and the pillows are my favorite. My only complaint is I wish there was a heavier blanket on the bed.
This Hyatt Housenis conveniently located near TCU with ample parking, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a generous breakfast selection. Highly recommended!
I had a great stay at the Hyatt TCU Hotel. The property was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their excellent customer service made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel itself was excellent. Very clean, helpful and kind staff, and the breakfast was better and more extensive than most Hyatt Place locations. The only downside was the lack of free parking. It was an unexpected surprise to have to pay to park, I didn't ever see that when I was booking the room.
Nothing. They canceled a month old reservation for no reason and had no room for me when I arrived.
The staff and management. Unprofessional and unhelpful.
1 star. Do not trust your reservation here.
Booked and paid in full through Booking.com months ago. Showed up tonight only to be told the hotel had cancelled my reservation because they claim Booking told them I cancelled. I did not. I cancelled one of two reservations long ago. The active, paid-in-full reservation was still live in my Booking account, confirmation and all.
Here’s the real story: their connection to Booking was broken on their end. When they tried to charge Booking for my prepaid stay, it failed, so instead of fixing their own system, they cancelled my room and pinned it on me. I had already paid. The money left my account months ago. None of that mattered to them.
The manager was the worst part of the entire experience. Completely dismissive, zero accountability, and made no effort whatsoever to fix a problem the hotel created. I came to the desk with a paid confirmation and a legitimate complaint, and was met with indifference and attitude instead of help. A good manager finds a solution. This one did nothing but deflect and make me feel like the inconvenience was mine to carry.
So I’m standing at the front desk, fully paid, with a confirmation in hand, being told I don’t have a room because of a technical failure that was entirely theirs. No accountability, no urgency, no effort to make it right.
If you have anything actually riding on your stay, a trip, an event, a reason you came to Fort Worth, do not gamble on this place. A paid reservation means nothing here the moment their systems hiccup, and the management will not lift a finger to help you. I will never book this hotel again and I’d advise anyone reading this to think hard before you do.
Great breakfast in a very nice seating area. Fresh eggs. Fresh fruit. Much more. Hard to beat.
We liked sitting out at the pool in the morning with coffee reading.
Staff incredibly friendly, especially reception and bar. We enjoyed the rooftop at night although the music was too loud and not to our taste.. housekeeping excellent. Plentiful parking. You couldn’t get closer to TCU.
This place is very nice! Go Hyatt!! Clean rooms very attentive staff. I would give it a 9 only because the website stated valet service so I was looking forward to it because I was traveling alone. Otherwise GREAT experience!
