This was a special treat for my sister and brother inlaw as a wedding anniversary gift.
The overall experience was amazing for them both🤗
No negative feedback to provide. The service and experience were excellent.
The cleaner was super nice to us, she was cleaning the elevator at the time, let us in, nice convo, nice person.
First they charged us $100 for checking in even when we paid online. Had I known this was going to happen I would not have booked here. Also if you use your credit card, they can’t give you the money back until 3 days later but they want you to pay straight away. This is ridiculous- and on check out, the person seemed surprised we were charged $100. This should be stated in the booking area. It is not!! I feel like you have to be a certain type to get charged that. Anyway, this annoyed us for the rest of the stay. Everything was a sour experience from here on in, will never stay here again.
I loved our room, the location, the staffs were friendly and accomodating.
The food menu in the restaurant for room service was limited. Not much to choose from. Wish they have more varieties of food to offer.
Quick check in and check out. Comfortable, clean room.
There must be a night club close to the hotel. Despite being on the 8th floor it was still disturbing from 10pm to 2am.
It was clean and comfortable
No help with bags, until it was mentioned, for the rating it has I was surprised.
The room
Came down for a staycation from Auckland. Great food. Efficient service :)
Lovely experience and staff was awesome..
Was greeted very well by lyka.Served well by kedar
We have been here a few times now and always have lovely service and delicious food!! Second time in a row we have both ordered the same meals - Venison Ragu & Market Fish with Maori Potatoes because they were so good, and again we were so satisfied!! Delicious
Stayed as a family of six, across three generations.
It is set back several streets from the lake, but despite this from level 4 we had a very pretty view of the lake and hills beyond in our Lake View room.
The room was pleasant. I'd personally prefer a separate bathroom than the glass cubicles of the toilet and the shower in the entrance part of the room.
The restaurant Barrel and co was bland and overpriced. Even when we were one of three tables in the restaurant, the service was slow and forgetful.
We happened to stay over Mothers Day. I would not have expected anything special from the hotel for this.
Approaching the restaurant for dinner a sign saying 'Mothers Day' caught my eye. Perhaps something special from the restaurant to celebrate mothers? But no, it was a miserly sign saying that any benefits Accor members could normally enjoy in the restaurant would NOT apply on Mothers Day. How stingy! Who knows what these benefits might typically be, but surely better not to mention Mothers Day at all.
This left a really sour taste in the mouth and was the impetus we needed to venture out. We walked a few doors down and had a decent dinner in a small restaurant that kindly offered the mothers in the group free brownies for dessert.
Lovely modern and spacious room. The staff are very professional and friendly.
The in room dining menu is rather disappointing. Not a lot to choose from.
