Hotel in zentraler Lage mit super Klimaanlage

Wir waren bei heißen Temperaturen in HH .
Die Klimaanlage war super !!!
Endlich mal ein Hotel das diese ohne selber etwas einstellen zu müssen super funktioniert hat.
Sehr zentrale Lage ,alles ringsherum vor Ort . Bahnhof , Apotheke, Cafés und Bars .

Cons:

Wir waren eine Stunde vor Check in da und das Zimmer war auch schon fertig, sollten aber dann das early Check in von 25 € bezahlen.
Wären wir viel zu früh da gewesen hätten wir es verstanden.

Lage und Zimmer waren gut

Cons:

Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Klimaanlage, trotz geöffnetem Fenster und dem Versuch sie über das Touchpad abzuschalten ließ sie es nicht zu und war unfassbar laut. Sie hat uns den Schlaf geraubt. Das Problem konnte nicht gelöst werden und eine Entschuldigung/ Teilerstattung des Geldes erfolgte auch nicht.

Pros:

Schönes, gut ausgestattetes Hotel an der S- und U-Bahn Barmbek, gut vom Flughafen aus und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar, große Zimmer, gut klimatisiert, meines hatte eine ruhige Lage zum Innenhof. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig. Freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen. Die Umgebung ist schön, viel Grün, Stadtpark sehr nahe.

If you don't mind being given no access and waiting, enjoy your stay
Pros:

The hotel looked nice and clean. The room was spacious. I did also like the calm location near the train station with frequent connections to the city center as well as shopping options around.

Cons:

On arrival I asked if my partner can arrive later and get his keys at the reception. I was confirmed that twice and also given a form to fill in our both names.

Upon his arrival he was told it is impossible, they have no record of him and they sent him away saying he has to call me to the reception for him to get in. Completely violating the trust I gave to the hotel. I was supposed not to be in the hotel at the time of his already complicated arrival and the idea of him having to wait further to get to the room was horrific. Fortunately I arrived only a few minutes sooner and was able to resolve this running to the reception.

The staff that night at 2am consisted of 3 people, having a laught outside smoking while my partner was waiting at the reception. So we waited further until one of them decided to enter the lobby, then as he failed to give us the card called his colleagues to help him and ultimately we were given the second key and managed to go to the room.

The hotel might have looked ok, but this was an experience I've not seen and could have ended up much worse if I really wasn't around as planned.
