Ramada by Wyndham Virginia Beach

The room was filthy and so was the splash pad at the pool. It looked like it hadn't been power washed in 20 plus years and is a MAJOR liability. The property needs to be deep cleaned from the pool area to the rooms. It's very very neglected.

The hotel over booked, put my group in a smaller room not all of us could fit and the staff members couldn’t do anything about it. I asked for a manager to call me and didn’t I had to reach out myself to talk about what happened since there was no manager on site. Took over an hour to give us extra pillows and blankets since they down graded us from the room I originally selected. The phone in the room did not work. There was mold all over the shower and in the toilet. Stains everywhere and the toilet plunger was sitting in the room near the bed.

Nothing

The misrepresentation of rooms on the website. The run down motel that was purchased across the street and called a Ramada property, partial ocean suite. The outdated furniture in all rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms, or lack there of.

This hotel was in bad and poor condition

The only complaint I have is the lack of working ice-machines throughout both properties. There are two for both places on the 6th and 7th floor in the main building. But other than that, I had no complaints.

It was a bad experience. The front desk stuff members were unprofessional.

Staff was amazing sweet! The room itself had an odor that im still trying to wash out of my clothes, hair, and just everything...

Staff and cleanliness

When I made my reservation, I entered the number of guests who would be staying, which was 4 adults and 1 child (5 people total). Based on the room options shown to me, I specifically selected a room with two queen beds and a couch bed. We planned our stay around having those sleeping arrangements for our family. When we checked in, we were given a room with only two queen beds and no couch bed. This was extremely upsetting because the room we received was not what was presented to us when we made the reservation. If the room we were assigned did not actually include the couch bed, we should have been informed at check-in so that we could have addressed the issue immediately. While unpacking I called the receptionist and they told me that some rooms have couch beds and some don’t and continued to tell me my room should have one… but it didn’t. So then she said they would bring a roll over bed to my room.. waited about an hour and still noone showed up to my room. So I went across the street and asked about the status of the bed and she told me they don’t have any. I was mad because you had me waiting for something that was never going to happen and I waited in my room just in case they were to knock and make sure I wouldn’t miss them. They could’ve easily called my room or my phone number and didn’t.I asked her what could be done since we can’t get that bed and she said “It’s your call.” That response was uncalled for, especially considering that the hotel had the reservation information and knew how many people the room was booked for. The room was not properly prepared when we arrived. There was no extra toilet paper, the toilet paper already in the bathroom was half used, and there were no trash bags in the trash cans. These are basic room-preparation items that we expected to have taken care of before our arrival.

Place was absolutely filthy. Had to leave immediately. Unsanitary. No mattress over. Urine in the toilet. Door wide open. Crumbs at bedside table. Stains on the mattress.
