Categories

Cleanliness
7.2
Mixed mentions — many guests called rooms 'clean' but several reports of old rooms, dirty carpet (moquette sporca) and persistent tobacco/second-hand smoke odor lowered the score.
Service
7.6
Mixed service feedback — multiple comments praise friendly/helpful staff, but there are notable complaints about rude/unhelpful check-in staff and slow/problematic check-in in the evening.
Location
9.3
Consistently excellent — many reviews highlight prime location near metro, shopping malls, Qilishantang/Seven Mile Canal and easy access to attractions.
Room Quality
7.8
Generally comfortable (spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good views, good water pressure) but some guests note dated rooms and wear, and smoke issues affecting room quality.
Amenities
8.4
Useful amenities noted (free washer/dryer, nearby large malls and supermarket, convenient transport access); limited mention of other on-site facilities.
Value for Money
8.6
Multiple guests explicitly remark on good cost-quality ratio; location and room size contribute to perceived good value despite some shortcomings.
Food and Beverage
6.8
Several complaints about breakfast quality (basic/poor, unexpected/not included on booking) and at least one guest describing breakfast as primarily Asian — overall weaker area.
Overall Experience
9.1
Overall positive stay driven by outstanding location, generally clean and comfortable rooms and mostly helpful staff; some service and breakfast/cleanliness issues noted but do not dominate guest impressions.

Good location, helpful staff and good value for money
Pros:

The room was big, the bed was comfortable but a little too soft (would have preferred a harder mattress). Good location. Staff were helpful and interested. Hotel is central and easy to use as focus point. Breakfast was good - selection of Asian and Western food.

Cons:

Bed a little soft. Fridge would have been welcome. Carpet stained (perhaps needs cleaning).

Facilities are great, staff not so much.
Pros:

Rooms are great, they have everything you need. Our TV didn't work tho, I didnt bother to ask why.

Cons:

Despite smoking being forbidden, the smell of cigarettes is everywhere, specially in the lifts. They have cameras everywhere but they don't enforce this prohibition.

The Staff was very unwilling to help us with questions about the city and local attractions. "We don't know, we don't use those booking websites" Yeah, thanks I know you are not the tourist, but I thought you would be more knowledgeable working the hospitality business. They offered us free breakfast if we gave them a good review, but guess what? The breakfasts was also bad, so here I am.

Pros:

Location was great - it was next to multiple malls, pedestrian streets and food places, the main city attractions were also within a 20 min ride by DiDi. AC was good.

Cons:

The staff were annoyed with us as foreigners not understanding chinese, the curtains didn't close all the way and weren't clean, the bathroom was clean but the cigarette smell kept coming from the air vents. The room also had very bad soundproofing.
