Location was perfect, 2 mins from train station and 5 minutes from Windsor Castle
The "self-service" element of both arrival and breakfast was a bit strange
Clean bedroom and bathroom. Good location beside Windsor castle. Entrance up an alley way. Scary at night as nightclub beside hotel with drunk behaviour at night.
Scary going into hotel via alley at night time as it’s beside a night club. Lots of loud drunk people with a fight one of the nights. Could be heard and seen from our room.
The closeness to high street and Windsor Castle was amazing.
No restaurant or cafe just your room. No view from room 510.
All you could see was other windows.
No one to for assistance after 5:30 when cleaners go home. There is a phone number to call for help.

A little difficult to find due to the entrance being down an alley.

Location was excellent, staff were amazing & rooms were so comfortable.
It was tricky to find, but once we realized it was in the middle of everything in Windsor, we were happy.
The hotel was easy to find, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was pleasant.
There was no food offered at any time. You could not access the hotel by car, including taxi (we had a rental car). The nearest parking lot was at least 0.5 miles away and it was not obvious how to get to the hotel from there. Non of this was on either the hotel or booking.coms website. we were in the midst of a very long trip with significant luggage. Once we hauled it to the hotel we also had to find a way to get it up several flights of stairs to our rooms.

Stayed just for the evening because attending an event and was very convenient for central Windsor
The front door and the signage was not that obvious and I walked past it !

No fridge in room and no on site staff and I did ask for a quiet room as well which was acted on though it didn’t take into ether outside clubs.

Location comfort space
The Goswell was situated in the heart of Windsor, close to the Castle & surrounded by great shopping, restaurants & bars. The rooms were very comfortable & well maintained. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved our 3 night stay!!
It was a little tricky to find & to be dropped off close by, but we figured it out (even with lots of luggage), stairs, no lifts, but big open space stairways.
