Nice place to stay on HW80
Pros:

Nice building, very functional, close to central Truckee. Our room was big and nice, air-conditioned. Very convenient drive (5 min) to central city with restaurants and shops.

Cons:

Breakfast food was very basic , not good quality and variety. Also be aware that the building is very close to highway and noise is present. With closed window it was not an issue for us in terms of sleeping.

Pros:

- Zentrale Lage
- Parkplatz direkt am Gebäude
- Bequeme und große Betten
- Eismaschine zur freien Verfügung
- Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut

Cons:

- Zimmerservice nur alle 2 Tage und dann nicht gut gereinigt
- Geschirr beim Frühstück aus Plastik und Pappe -> nicht nachhaltig!
- Personal größtenteils nicht freundlich
- Keine Gastronomie außerhalb der Frühstückszeit
- Zusatzkosten für Parkplatz
- Poolbereich war sehr klein und nicht einladend.
- Mülleimer im Zimmer hatten Behälter zur Mülltrennung, aber beim Zimmerservice wurden der Müll in einem Müllsack zusammen entsorgt. -> nicht nachhaltig!
- Bad war ungepflegt und nicht sauber
- Das Hotel insgesamt machte einen ungepflegten Eindruck

Breakfast was great, so was the location
Staff very helpful and friendly
Overall a solid 9 out of 10

Cons:

Only 1 elevator was working, not a huge deal but had to wait longer
No alarm clock in the room was a little unusual
Room trash cans need a plastic bag in them

Cons:

For the money and seemingly family oriented one would think there would be a mini fridge and micro wave in the room. Nope. I stayed in 2 different rooms and while both rooms were nice, no fridge or microwave
