The property itself is very clean & located close to just about anything you need.
We paid to stay for 4 nights and we were unable to stay at this location. They have very strong plug in air fresheners in literally every outlet within the hotel. Almost as if they are trying to cover up a smell vs fixing the issue causing the smell. The fragrance was so strong that I started breaking out in hives & could not breathe. I requested a room transfer without a plug in & the front desk staff stated they all have them. I tried to push through it until the hives started. I then requested to be transferred to a sister facility & when that was requested, I was offered a fan for ventilation. I sleep with a CPAP that pulls in room air. With already reacting to the fragrance with the CPAP, I knew my health would truly be in jeopardy once my CPAP was in use. I politely declined & requested a transfer. They were able to get us over to another hotel (not part of La Quinta) but when we got there, the staff member stated they had not received anything from La Quinta as promised (we know they were in contact as the phone call was made right in front of us) & that they were only able to help us for 1 night. I tried calling La Quinta to have this addressed & taken care of quickly as it was already after 10pm but received no answer. The manager at the new hotel was extremely helpful & told us not to worry about it & that he would accommodate us for the 4 nights we paid for at La Quinta. The new hotel was great, but it was not worth the pricing we paid for at La Quinta. Given the circumstances, I feel we should have been offered something for than a fan & possibly even a partial refund given the circumstances. We have stayed here before without issues but that was when it was brand new. I am not certain we will be returning.

All three rooms reaped with strong smell of urine and the pillows was sour smelling. They apparently knew this because there were room glade deodorizers stuck in the wall sockets and they were empty.
