It had easy access to the train, accommodated our group iof 3, had a coffee machine downstairs

Cons:

Had A/C, but it didn’t cool well and kicked off continuously through the night. Staff did not mention breakfast wasn’t included and were semi-rude when presenting the bill at the end.

Great location, 10-15 mins by tram into the city and main station.

Cons:

The AC was always set to switch off after 2 hours. We were 4 people in one room at the top floor, so the windows weren’t allowed to open fully. And after asking for the AC to be on continuously, it still didn’t work. It was very stuffy in the room. The exhaust in the bathroom also didn’t work.

Gutes Hotel mit Verbesserungspotenzialen
Pros:

Das Personal war freundlich und der Check-in war sehr einfach und schnell. Die Zimmer selbst waren sauber aber leider etwas klein und mit 2 Einzelbetten ausgestattet. Die Lage des Hotels ist relativ ruhig und sehr gut an das Straßenbahnnetz angebunden. Die nächste Haltestelle ist ca. 1 Minute von Hotel entfernt, zudem gibt es direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite ein großes Kaufland mit entsprechenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ebenfalls befinden sich weitere Geschäfte und Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Umgebung.
Als Raucher hat mir gefallen, dass im ebenerdigen Außenbereich Tische mit Aschenbechern vorhanden waren und es kein Rauchverbot gab. Im Hotel selbst ist natürlich Rauchverbot, was auch o.k. ist.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war etwas spartanisch für 15 Euro pro Person auch etwas teuer. Zudem gab es nur 2 Kaffeeautomaten, welche an einem Tag während der Frühstückszeit (so gegen 8 Uhr) beide in den "Reinigungsmodus" gegangen sind und dadurch für alle Frühstücksgäste eine Wartezeit von ca. 15 Minuten verursacht haben. Eine entsprechende Schlangenbildung war daraufhin die Folge. Gut wäre auch, wenn es mehr Sitzmöglichkeiten an "normalen" Tischen geben würde. Highboards und Sofa-Hocker sind nicht jedermanns Geschmack und die Sofa-Hocker haben nur sehr kleine Tische.
Die Einzelbetten waren für unseren Geschmack sehr schmal (ca. 80 oder 90 cm) und die Matratzen waren etwas hart.
Die Parkplätze (gegen zusätzlicher Gebühr von 18 Euro pro Nacht) befinden sich direkt unter den Hotel, sind aber teilweise sehr eng. Zum Einparken ist etwas Rangier-Geschick erforderlich - aber besser als kein Parkplatz.
Da die Innenstadt ca. 2,5 km entfernt ist empfiehlt es sich u.E. nicht, diese Strecke zu Fuß zu bewältigen, da man immer direkt an befahrenen Straßen entlang laufen muss. Wir sind ca. 40 Minuten in die Stadt gelaufen, nach einem ausgiebigen Essen in einem Restaurant haben wir aber den Rückweg per Taxi bevorzugt. Deshalb besser gleich ein Straßenbahn-Tagesticket in der Straßenbahn selbst lösen. Preislich ist dies sehr interessant. Wir haben zu viert - 2 Erwachsen und 2 Kinder bis 14 Jahren nur 10,90 Euro für ein Tagesticket bezahlt.

sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in verkehrsgünstiger Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Haltestelle der Straßenbahn, in unmittelbarer Umgebung sind zwei Supermärkte, eine Eisdiele und mehrere Restaurants. Wir hatten ein Studio und uns im Edeka unser eigenes Frühstück gekauft - das fanden wir für 18€ pro Kopf dann doch etwas zu teuer. In der Umgebung des Hotels kann man zudem für 9€ pro 24h an der Straße parken, Plätze waren genügend da. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Lage wenn man jemanden im Uni-Klinikum besucht (Linie 2 nehmen und man ist in 10 Minuten dort ohne Umstieg - perfekt!)
